So you have to be there at least 45 mins of your travel booking time? If you're 15-30 mins then they won't accept, is that right? I ask this because it happend to my friend with JetStar. He was there 10 min before scheduled flight departure time but they won't let him on & he have to paid the full price for another ticket.

Yes, in Asia they are very strict with that timing. The counter closed exactly 45 min in many cases. This is crucial for their 25 min turn-around process.
