If you want to kill zombies, do it at a discount price. Bear with me here, there are a few caveats. Also note, this is a different deal to https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/191408 which was to be a Zombie, not a Shooter.

1. Sign up to be a VIP Freetix member for $30.
2. Buy 2 x Shooter ticket for 30 points each (out of the 300 you are allocated when you join).

Notes:

• Even if you didn't use Freetix for the rest of the year, that makes the tickets $15 each instead of $127 each.
• The website says tickets are free for members, which is incorrect - they are valued at 30 points each.
• Only valid for 5 sessions: Sat 25 Apr @ 12pm, 2pm, 4pm & Sun 26 Apr 1pm, 3pm.
• It sounds like it is NOT worth $127pp. Reviews have not been very positive - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/191408#comment-2703705 . I debated submitting this deal but thought perhaps $15 tickets could alter the perception of entertainment value for someone.
• Given the retail price of tickets is $127, you need to join as a VIP member not a social member, since the latter can only access tickets with maximum retail value of $120.
• If you are not a member, you can't see whether a specific session is still available. All 5 sessions are still available at the time of posting, but your mileage might vary.
• Members can obtain a maximum of 2 tickets, so you need to have two people sign up if you want 4 people to attend.

  Thanks for mentioning the negative reviews, they really are desperate if they are dropping the price that much - wow. Like I mentioned before it was a really disappointing event and the fact they are deleting all negative comments from their social media has irked me so bad I couldn't even recommend it at this price, avoid - do not give them a cent of your money.

  The Shooter tickets can also be claimed by Social Members.
  Social Membership = $15 for 120 points
  Each shooter ticket requires only 30 points
  Therefore 2 tickets = 60 points
  Leaving you with another 60 in your account to use on an event later on.

  2 x Social Memberships @ $15 each will give you access to a total of 4 Shooter tickets (Over $480 value for $30!!)

  There are still tickets available for Shooters on almost all sessions listed.

    I'm surprised to hear that, given these are $127 RRP, and the description of the Social Membership on the Freetix website states: "Gain access to complimentary tickets to premium events worth up to $120 retail.".

    That said, you're associated with them, so I yield to your knowledge on this pricing arrangement.

      It can be a little confusing as it's a new approach to audience development, but once you get used to the Freetix system it's amazing value.

      If an event ticket retails for $127 each as is the case with the Zombie Shooter Tickets the associated points on that ticket could be anything from 10 points to 127 points.

      They decide on a points value based on
      Qty of tickets available and how soon the event is happening.

      So in reality a Social Membership could provide the member with hundreds of dollars worth of tickets depending on what the member chooses throughout the year.

      They under-promise and over-deliver on the value so that members are kept happy and loyal.

      Hard to believe but it really is that simple and no catches

        Wow, that's great! Sounds like it balances out perfectly with Oz Apocalypse's approach of overpromising and underdelivering! A match made in heaven… Btw, yes, this event really is only worth $20pp, don't pay more than that.
