Thank you, Trent86. So helpful to have this as a guide of what not to buy before Wed.

6 Packs Of Espressotoria Vittoria Capsules And Get Espressotoria Machine FREE

how does this taste compare to ALDI brand?

Also how much do these cost compared to aldi capsules?

BTW these capsules are really bad for the environment.

        • No idea, no idea and Oh Well lol. I have no idea man

        • -1

          @TRENT86:

In response to your "OH well lol" statement

Ponder this, this is the future of the planet if we keep this up
          There's no second earth.
And even if it was discovered, it would be impossible to travel there or move everyone there.

        • @tyler.durden: The thing is there is way too much out there that destroys the planet, I would end up buying nothing if I thought that way. I agree it sucks but we can't single one thing out when there are thousands of products we buy that we aren't even aware is hurting our planet :)

        • BTW if you are willing to spend a bit more, this works out less per pod:

          https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/45796/product/espress…

        • My personal preference in order of taste.
          1. Nespresso (lots of choice)
          2. Lavazza
          3. Espressotoria (cheaper pods when on sale)
          4. Aldi

Not sure about caffeitaly which is the other main pod system. Someone shoukd invent machine that has removable parts to support all machines; )

        • @Skimpywallet:

Dont eat meat of you wanna save planet

        • @Skimpywallet: Multi-capsule machines already exist in the market.

        • @F0rtitude:
Where does one get a multi compatible capsule machine?

  • Am I the only one can view the first page of the scanned catalogue?

    • +1

No I only scanned the cover

      • Curious. Why not scan the whole thing?

        • Because the catalogue will be up 2mrw anyway :)

  • Unrelated to the post but does anyone know if woolies has TGG gift cards?

  • iTunes cards?

    • Coles has 15% off iTunes cards ($30 and above). At least they did at my local Coles the other day. They should be on sale.

      • Hmm Melbourne Central didn't last Friday but thanks

        • Target has 20% off atm and next week

        • @TRENT86: Sounds good thanks!!

        • @TRENT86: is that storewide, in store or online?

        • @oldrocker:
Nah just on iTunes and it's in store & online

        • @TRENT86: Oh I see, if combined with the current $20 Amex credit on a $100 online spend (targeted promo), it's $40 off! Not a bad deal, too bad I'm not an iTunes fan.

  • Anyone with an opinion on the espresso capsules and machine?

    • +2

The money is in the capsules. In case that wasn't made clear by them giving the machine away :D

    • the capsules are really expensive compared with other systems.

      • 70c/pod, I've seen them go on sale a fair bit though

    • Great high-margin business. Can not believe so many fools are downgrading to this! Now we charge so much more - for so much less!! hahahhaha

Then the ladies think they are going to date George Clooney!! hahahhahhahah And the men think they are him!!! hahhahahahhahahah

Woops, oh, sorry, you meant from the consumer point-of-view…

Flight Centre discount is awesome, considering they'll price match most online prices.

    • +1

Yeah I was just thinking that - hate the company but 10% off after you go in and screw them down with the price matching - win!

Edit - T&C's for Flight Centre Gift Cards - http://www.flightcentre.com.au/cms_images/pdfs/policies/gift…

      • +1

Can you pay for FC gift card with a Wishcard? If so, then you save another 5% or 7.5%. That's very tempting!!

        • +1

Honestly dunno - would have to chase down the Big W/Woolies T&Cs for that…

Edit - https://everydaygiftcards.com.au/media/static/Docs/wish_tnc.… - you know what? Doesn't say you can't. But I'd be asking before I plunged 100's (or thousands) into one in the hope of buying the other.

        • @Willowtea: thanks mate, I was in Woolies this arvo and the lass at counter didn't think there's a problem paying with WC, however they come in $75 & $150 denominations. So if you're after a $2000 airfare/ package, say, it'll take a while to process!
Also, FC was $300 more than a friend's quote, so they're not that great.

        • @oldrocker:

One of the reasons why I don't like them but what I've learnt about most agents is to do your own research online. Make sure you get the exact flight number, day, time etc plus the T&Cs - print it out, take it in and tell them to either order that flight or do better (with the same airline or equivalent - sorry but not all airlines are created equal). Generally, they'll then just log into Amadeus etc and book the flight if they want the commission :D

        • +1

@Willowtea: Absolutely, I've not used an agent for a long time. Think I'll drop this idea, don't wanna be locked into FC, plenty of deals online.

  • +1

surely thats just about the normal price for up and gos now - they are on sale almost every week.

  • The Event Cinemas gift cards would be good - can use it for Telstra / Priceline $11 tickets.
