  • How much does a McWrap cost?

    • At my local store, they range between $6.95 and $7.95.

You can find prices for the full menu on the My Maccas app.

    • Unfortunately, that's the last sneaky deal. Won't be anymore. :(

well I enjoyed the $5 Big Mac deals from last week keep up the deals

    • The staff didnt know about this promo and they wouldnt let me upsize for $1 when i got the meal.

$4 for chessburger + small meal is not a good deal

      • +1

I got the same thing with the first sneaky deal a few weeks ago for $2.70.

        • me too, had it for 2.60 in Southland, VIC…

  • Mcrap deal seems good.

    • It's actually crap

      • M'crap.

    Anyone post full email?

  • +3

Is it just me or are the deals getting worse with each week?

    • +2

I was thinking similar. I swear the other week it was buy 1 cheeseburger (~$2.75) and you get free small drink and chips.

      • You're right it was. That's a weird strategy by Maccas then.

    • +11

      Yes sneakily getting worse

Can someone post the original source?

    • If anyone else got the email they might be able to help out as I'm having trouble exporting this to a PDF, although you don't need the original email, you can just show the vouchers (this worked multiple times for me, and in fact in my experience they often don't even ask to see the voucher).

      • +1

Mate forward me the email and I'll PDF it. I'll PM you my email address

      • Depends on the store, some wag took the opportunity to get a bit of low humour in on my expense but the manager at my store explicitly asks for the email and won't accept the little tag images (as in the last sneaky deal). Although one shift manager did it for me, other than that I've gone every day to no avail.

        • Even a screenshot of the email so we can email the screenshot to ourselves so the manager can delete the image as an 'email' I've tried emailing the tag and claiming that as the 'email' but he doesn't buy it.

I just want to know how to get on this bloody mailing list so I can post it correctly every week - the full email in PDF form. I tried signing up through the MyMaccas app but that didn't get me onto this mailing list.

  • What were the prices originally?

    • Download the app to check prices.

I wonder if McDonalds will ever release whole sheets of coupons like Hungry Jacks do..

  • +1

The only reason I buy a McWrap is because it's one of the healtier things on the menu. I don't want to ruin that with Coke and Fries. Ugh.

      'Healthy'

    • +1

i read somewhere that drinking coke with the meal actually is healthier then having the meal on its own

      • That clearly has to be a joke. Yeah it's not the healthiest thing but it's better than a big mac and fries.

    • I thought they would be healthier too but check the nutrition info on the website and compare to the burgers… scary how similar they are in terms of calories/fat/carbs.

  • That's the last sneaky deal. Won't be anymore unfortunately.

I am not sure if this will work.
I tried the last one with Hornsby McDonalds
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/191234
They gave me a very suspicious look and say no. :-|

    • yeah.. each time i used the previous one, they looked at me funny.. but put it through. the last time the manager did not know how to put it through for $5 (big mac deal), that she could not accept my money.. so she gave the small big mac meal for me for free…

I think someone is making these vouchers up….

      • They're definately legit, just poorly communicated to stores. I had one where the lady glanced at my phone for half a second and said drive through please, must've thoguht it said free rather than $5. Didn't complain though, got a free big mac meal :P

  • mcdonalds is crap. They are so stingy with their servings. When the workers fill the fries box they treat the fries like its worth gold and they always underfill

  • RIP Micky.

  • People need to know that this voucher isn't being honoured all McDonalds stores. I went to McDonalds at Kensington just now, and they flat-out refused to accept the voucher. I went through the Facebook page in getting the voucher and did everything properly. However, they simply said that they hadn't been notified by head office about the promotion, and that there was no option on their register.

Reading through this thread, it looks like other people have struggled and failed too when it comes to getting these deals accepted by various McDonalds stores. Not good enough from McDonalds: I'm going to complain, and in the event that your voucher gets rejected, so should you.

Though I must thank the OP for sharing this deal, my vote is negative. It isn't a good deal if stores aren't honouring their advertised claims.

    • I'd complain too if I had been refused
I have used these sneaky deal quite a few times
      sydney town hall
      chatswood westfield
      warringah mall westfield
      bass hill
most of the times the person @ the register doesn't know what to do, and gets a manager, or whoever's in charge tells them what to do
