Got a refund for my two orders.
Picked up my order from a WA shop just now.
Didn't know if I was getting my order but I had no email and it was booked for picked between 2pm and 4pm.
Dirty staff member tried to cheat me. In the trolley was only 27/36 packs. She asked me to sign and walked off not waiting for me to count.
When i went to spoke to her after counting, it seem like she knew there was more in another trolley and she went to get them.
Then she happily counted them….
I went to Woolworth to collect my online order (without the toilet paper). I told the the lady on the help desk that I was advised that the stock had run out pointing to the pile of toilet paper in the store. I then asked that, given that there was heaps of toilet paper in the store, could I purchase it at the online price. She asked the the duty manager and he said yes. So, I got my bargain toilet paper in the end.
Well played what! Being polite and not approaching them with a sense of entitlement was a great strategy.

Mine was delivered without drama though I should add my 36x8 packs were ordered with 3x 2kg half-priced OMO Ultimate.

Out of curiosity what day and time was your order delivered? You were lucky as I got a delivery in Perth but the toilet paper part of my order was cancelled. I paid delivery and ordered other groceries. I'd love to know why they cancel some people's but not others. I'm.not sure if orders come from a central warehouse or closest stores. If it's closest stores I checked early the next morning at the two closest to me and they both had heaps of stock. I did get a late night delivery so note to self, if you ever shop online with Woollies again, especially if the order contains things that are clearly pricing mistakes don't go for a late night delivery lol.
Mine was delivered on the Saturday around 6pm if I recall correctly.
Delivery guy just mentioned it was a great price and the wifey counted out the 36 packs as that was the max we could order of the one variety.
I believe the stock is delivered from a local store in my area.
I assume the order comes from the closest click and collect store i.e. they have the facilities to store orders for delivery or click and collect.
Judging by the comments, I think it comes down to the individual store. If the store checked the memo from head office, they would have cancelled orders. However some might have missed the memo, hence why some orders went through.
If it's closest stores I checked early the next morning at the two closest to me and they both had heaps of stock.
Not every store is a click and collect store. Do your local stores have the click and collect option? Your local stores might have received stock last night and that nice big pile of TP might have been restocked overnight by nightfillers.
My click and collect order went through ok ,but my delviery order was cancelled. Both orders had other groceries in it. :(
Well I got mine! 16 packs for $12.96 yay. I did order another $100 of groceries with it. Came late Friday night after horrendous weather.
Received a phone call 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. The entire order including tomato soups were cancelled. During the call incorrect pricing, breach of T and C, and ordering more than the maximum quantity were mentioned. Basically I "violated" every rule I had agreed to, it is all my fault and Woolworths is blameless.
I didn't bother to argue as I was enjoying a nice hot bowl of beef noodle soup.
Successfully picked up an order today of 12 packs that included other groceries.
