  • Are previous subscribers eligible?

    • Don't think so, the T&C says "A free trial of the subscription service is available to eligible new members. To be eligible for this offer, you must be a first time customer of the Quickflix subscription service, including Homescreen and DVD Library hosted services."

  • When will this deal expired?

  • good one. 2weeks trail is too short.

i am using it and getting first blu ray on 2nd dec.

  • Nice, signing up now :)
Will it auto-subscribe me to future months, or will I have to actually accept that?

    • They ask for payment details, then the start using them after 2 months :)

  • Signed up for my 3rd "trial" with Quickflix. I think if you use a different CC number, you can get away with it. They also take PayPal now.

  • They have a decent range, lots of blu-ray too :)

  • hi..how does this work? sorry have never rent dvds before

  • Thanks for this, great timing with the kids home for the next 2-3 months

  • If you do the free trial again and get caught, they will charge $29.95 from your account base on..

"I am over 18 years of age and confirm that my household has not previously had a Quickflix free trial or special promotion and agree to the Quickflix Terms and Conditions. "

    • Get caught did we ????

    • Where does it say if you get caught they charge you?

  • Very interesting.

  • I signed up to this using the code and im sure somewhere it was confirmed that I was on a two month trial but i just got an email saying that my trial is up in 4 days and that after the 4 days they will charge me.

Did this happen to any one else??

    • woah, yeah that happened to me too, says mine expires in 4 days now. better call them tomorrow.
      what happened to your subscription?

  • Can't see any expiry date on the website for my account. Can you guys see an expiry date, or is it just from the email you received?

    • Go to My Account/My Subscription/View/Change your subscription. Tells you your next bill date.

      • No changes for me, the billing date still shows the end of January.

Fairly happy with the service so far. The only complaint apart from some new releases having very long wait times (or unavailable to trial users) is that it takes 2-4 days to get a DVD back after they receive it. My returns always reach them the next business day and they say that the next one has been sent. But it always takes 2-4 days to actually get the next one.

I think this would work better if you pay for the service as you can mark off your returns on the website, and assume they will sent replacements quicker.

  • Buyer beware, I signed up for this two month free trial on Nov 25, one month in to the day, and I have been charged! I have emailed them asking themto address this, otherwise I will be cancelling a service I was likely to keep, on principle.

    • Update: Quickflix fixed this by giving me a refund. They blamed technical error for being billed for my second free month. Their response was pretty quick and no fuss so apart from the initial stuff up they did rectify this satisfactorily.

  • FYI all, Code has expired - just tried on Quickflix website.
