the s6 is having ram problems at the moment and significant slowdowns. probably worthwhile waiting until a fix has been posted before jumping in.
Well it is an android/touchwiz device so in six months time it will have significant slowdowns anyway.

I've had a Note 2 for 2 years and got a cheap Note 3 last year, no slowdowns at all.
My wife and I both have S6's (non edge) and have noticed absolutely no problems.

When you buy an Apple product, you know what you get and that's quality. It's really worth the premium and the customer service is phenomenal.
Not sure about "quality" (hello every single MacBook, iPhone 5s, iPad Mini 3), but the customer service is good.
When you buy an Apple product, you know the "perceived" quality is there.
I don't buy a product for customer service. If I need or expect customer service, it's a bad sign already.
Paying the premium for the service is like buying insurance. I'd rather get a cheaper product with not as good CS, but if I need CS, I'll pay extra, but only when I need it.
