  • also still waiting for mine

    • There is an order tracking link in the email you would have received from HP at the time of placing your order…

Mine should arrive 3rd June according to it..

  • Nope - nothing for me yet either :(

  • My order status has been updated to shipped. There is a tracking number but I can't track with their link. It's going to 404 page not found.

Looks like the shipment is coming from the US using a freight forward service.

  • Just received mine today. Thanks OP loved it.

    • I'm happy to help :) Glad you like it!

    Kingone is way better…

    THe only con of Kingone is that they embed the chinese voice over along with the english one;

  • Received mine today. The sound quality is good at low volumes. Yet to test with loud volume. Will check after going home.

  • Mine just arrived. First impressions is the sound is quite Ok especially for the price.

  • +1

ROAR! i got it! It sounds amazing in my opinion.

Just don't play too loud, it gets cracking and stuff like that.

Soft music and quiet environment, this is great speaker.

    For $20, extreme happy customer!

  • ordered the premium backpack and roar on the same time. only received the backpack. order status for both shown as shipped.
anyone who ordered multiple items received them separately?

  • Received 2 ROARs and Bluetooth Mouse and Backpack.

I am fully satisfied for all of them… ;)))))

  • got mine few days ago. only getting around 2hrs of bluetooth playtime at low volume levels after fully charging…
i charged it into a apple white usb power adapter into mains, can't be too powerful in a harmful way could it, or is it meant to be charged via a computer?
sounds fine for a small room, now all the rooms in my house have 1 :P
i see a few on ebay now

  • My roar is experiencing the battery issues mentioned on Amazon. Constantly blinking power button and hardly any play time. If I leave it alone, off charge, for a few days it is completely unresponsive and needs 5 mins just to show the blinking amber light.

I got 4 of them to give as gifts but can't risk it now since the recipient will find out how much I paid when the try and return!

Looks like they're all going back.

PS, it should also be noted that I received the 4 speakers I ordered in a large box with no protective packing. The 4 units took up about 1/4 of the volume of the box and were free to tumble about in this box. Absolute joke.

    • Just a quick follow up. I tested my charging set up for the Roar with my phone which tells me how long it takes until fully charged; I have a range of USB chargers and cables that I use. The charger and cable I was using for the Roar showed a 6 hour charge time for my Nexus 5 but when I changed the cable (same wall plug) the charge time dropped to 1.5hrs. I then plugged that new cable set up into the Roar and it was charged in ~4hrs. Took it outside and had it playing music for about 3 hours straight as I vacuumed and washed the cars. I'm not convinced yet that it's not faulty but I will keep playing around until I find a charger/cable combination that provides enough power to charge it quicker.

TL;DR, make sure you have a charger and cable that is capable of providing the Roar with enough juice (amps)!

      • I have downloaded an app from Play Store called Ampere. It measures the rate of charge for your mobile. After finding a charger/USB cable combination that was putting out close to 1A on my phone, I connected it to the speaker and it charged in about an hour. Been getting about 4-5hrs play time on it.

My bad HP. Still, learn how to pack your shipments properly you palookas.

  • the issue now is that it can't be charged via USB plug ac adapter.

Only can charge via powerbank or usb-computer/laptop.

Start to feel it's a wasted $20, when there's no support seems.
