Vodafone $50 Pre-Paid Cap Starter $16.90 - Buy 4 Get 1 Free, Buy 7 Get 3 Free (POSTAGE INCLUDED) @ Jizmojones eBay

300

Hey OzBargainers,

Saw a post/comment referring to my VF $50 starter pack listing on ebay and was kind of hoping someone else listed the deal instead of me (store rep = less cred).

Anyway, most of you would know the finer details of these $50 VF starter packs, but just to clarify:

  • No expiry date
  • UNLIMITED Calls & Txt 24/7 for 28 days upon activation
  • 3GB Data for 28 days upon activation
  • Bonus "Infinite" Free Weekend Data! (ends 2/8/15 unless extended)
  • Free Unlimited Calls to 5x Overseas countries! (ends 4/8/15 unless extended)
Free international calls apply to standard international voice calls to landlines and mobile numbers in China (excludes Hong Kong), India, USA, UK, and NZ.

Starter pack comes with new Multi-fit SIM (to suit Standard/Micro sizes). I am happy to cut 1-2 sims to nano size for the odd customer but if you are buying 4/5+ do me a favour and get yourself a sim cutter from ebay ($3-$5).

BONUS OFFERS as follows:

Any customer that orders 4x starter packs will receive 1x additional starter packs FREE
&
Any customer that orders 7x starter packs will receive 3x additional starter packs FREE

As per Vodafone's T&Cs fair use policy applies, Personal use only
Full details can be found here: http://www.vodafone.com.au/personal/prepaid/prepaid-options/…

Have a great day

  • For anyone interested in buying here's the link to his eBay listing. Don't understand why we didn't put the link but anyway:

    http://ebay.com.au/itm/181752229135

Still deciding if I'll give this a shot or not.

  • New to prepaid - can anyone explain how id port my number?

  • Do these have an expiry?

    • Depends on whether the first point in his description is a lie…

      • No expiry date
      • +1

Sim starter packs have no expiry - once activated the included $50 cap offer ends after 28 days. If you want to keep the same number you can recharge or port out to a different network and back in with another starter pack

        • I was joking. Of course they don't.

    • No expiry date with Vodafone. Of course like any business, I wouldn't hold onto them for years.
But, I've activated Vodafone data SIMs 3 years after purchase - was very old stock when I bought.

Did he rob a warehouse full of these ready to be shipped off?

  • Can I use same number to recharge every month using this started pack? Else do I need to change SIM every month ? or Will this pack has a Voucher code which I can use to recharge $50 plan.

    • No the only way you will be able to continue using multiples of these and keep the same number is to port out to a different network and back in with another starter pack sim

  • Why so cheap?

VF Huawei Y550 ring any bells…

      • No, can you explain?

      • My VF Huawei Y550 didn't ring ;-)
I set up friends with the $40 deal, & they gave me their vf$50 packs.

        • +1

Well played sir… the Y550 was a deal unlikely to be repeated I dare say

      • I sold my VF PP Cap on Gumtree for this exact amount. My Huawei was practically free compared to a flagship.

and we're surprised that Australia is running out of mobile numbers… http://www.smh.com.au/national/04-no-more-mobile-numbers-run…

    • +3

These (and all VF PP sims i believe) don't have a ph number attached to them, upon activation you can choose a ph no from a list of 10-20 or port your existing ph no over…

any way to avoid using our real name 7 times?
i noticed voda has link to correct numbers of licences and passports

    • Why would you do that?

  • -1

have no expiry dates? mean we can use it forever?

  • +1

Sorry folks all gone… More stock to come shortly

Ps. Thanks to all those who snapped them up, will get them out to you ASAP

  • Hi mate. Any more for sale? EBay is sold out

  • Sold out!

  • Oh, I missed out

  • anymore stocks? :-(

  • Yes I want to buy too

  • I want 10 for 118.30 thanks now

  • Is Vodafone willing to turn the "credit" associated with this into the equivalent of $40 + $10 recharges/starter and transfer the credit to an existing account?

    • doubtful, its a starter kit, intended to attract new customers.

      • Client-neutrality could permit benefits to extend levelly: to Accounts-in common — current, along with prospective. Matured market and all.

Invention of flexible credit was commendable, but then to move away from that is just regressive for vf. Look instead to a modern template: Telstra uphold nondiscriminatory free exc credit.

        • Yes, but to these large businesses an existing customer may not be treated as well as a prospective customer. Try getting a new signup deal if you're an existing customer. Telstra is the same as Vodafone.
PS. Are you a robot or some kind of noble internets knight? Your language is rather strange.

        • +1

When you find a way to exchange funds (creditme2u, never mind Google Play currency) — just for data & calls, running account off starter kit value, be sure to announce the news.

The T & V are yet to meet up at that degree of sophistication. Having used both services, so has prompted empathy for the outstanding commenter's question.
+a pun on network neutrality~ incentivise accounts equally if it just the date of signup distinguishes them. 1 bird in the hand is worth 2-in the bush dontcha reckon (telstra sure appears to).
