Saw this on their Facebook page. Simply spend $6 on food/drink (dasher86 confirmed alcohol included) and get a free game of bowling. So it's pretty much $6 for a combo of bowling + food/drinks.

Play Policy

When you spend $6 or more at the bar you are eligible for a free game bowling/laser/30 mins karaoke; this applies to food and/or drink
If you are buying a round of drinks you and your mates you will all receive a free game of bowling. Please refer to fair play rules if you want to keep buying rounds.
The play policy is that 1 game of free bowling can be redeemed per item purchased of $6 value or more; if you spend +$12 on an item in a single transaction you are not entitled to 2 free games.

Please note that promotional nights are not available on public holidays or public holiday eves, or in conjunction with any other offer including our school holidays promotion.

    This has been going for years. Usually only on a Sunday after 6 pm if I recall. And yes includes alcohol.
    This could be another promo.
    OP please confirm details.

      yep, works well down at darling harbour, though the beers are pretty average. could do a shot of tequila then a game, then a shot, theeeen a gaame, theeen a shut, theremm a gaaarm, theeeemmm shoot, gaaammmee….

      Just be prepared to wait for a lane, it's pretty busy most Sundays at darling harbour, can't speak for other places. Also, the darling harbour one isn't full size….

    I'm tempted to go in and just buy $6 worth of food and see if they will let someone else wrap their hands around my balls :P

    I'm not a bowler but would love to put a smile on someones face with a free game.

    Thanks OP, I'll be in the Gold Coast in 6 weeks with the kids. If we get bad weather this is definitely an option. Even better than their 2 for 1 deal on Thursday … and you basically get free food.

    Some of those locations are charging $14 for one game. I have no idea how my local bowling alley has stayed in business for 20 years when the car park is always empty when I drive past it.

    Used this once. Bought drinks totalled $24 but only got 3 games, because only 3 drinks topped $6. combination doesn't apply.
