Saw this in the brochure for the Good price Pharmacy Warehouse, so clearly they are an eligible retailer.

  • I think this is the one public hospitals in NSW use

    So Chemist Warehouse?
    http://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/searchresult.asp?terms=aq…

  • Would think so. But you can always ask them, too.

  • T&C No. 14 states that the refund will come via EFTPOS card.

Seems insane that they would go to the trouble of sending out Eftpos card for just $4.99.
Maybe they mean virtual card. Still, you would think the set up fees would make it not worth it. Why not just direct credit people?

      • Plenty of cashbacks come as EFTPOS cards, even little ones.

    • The ad in the GPPW brochure states it is by cheque - that is why I put it this way. I did not read through all the terms and conditions as I assume everybody on OB can read.
EFTPOS makes more sense though so I am glad it is by EFTPOS

  • Damn, was going to buy some today. Tossing up whether I should hold off!

Definitely do not buy until Monday. Until then, DON'T GO OUTSIDE. Lock all the doors and windows in your house. Don't touch anything. Don't go near children or pets.

The real OzBargainers will pay for this with their ING card, submit their claim and PROFIT :P

    • +1

And, being a real ozbargainer, I will also buy it at Priceline where I collect points - even though it's $6.99 there so over the $6.95 cash back, 3% cash back when it comes to Priceline points time = 21c :)

You also have to write a review.

Instructions unclear - I smell like alcohol. Overall, much cleaniness, very size, amaze.

      7/10.

Sounds very similar in nature to this promo (also an Ego brand). https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/186726 Love these type of deals but haven't received eftpos card for the qv promo and chasing it up has been a little time consuming and the person responsible not the most helpful. So there is an off chance that may happen. For what it's worth, of all these sanatising products tried in hospitals etc. this is definately my favourite in terms of texture and fragrance, it rubs on the skin smoothly and is not runny or globby (if that's a word), also seems to evaporate off the skin quickly and leaves the hands less drier than some others.

Possibly same promoters. The eftpos card needed to be activated online, then wait a day before spending. Mine's still in my wallet. Whenever I go to use its value on a slightly larger purchase, I am told the store can't split payments :-( Will try in store at a supermarket.

      • I had so much hassle activating and using my last EFTPOS card, and at least that was for $20. When it failed at a store 2 days before expiry, I loaded it onto my Amazon gift card balance. No expiry, waited for an Amazon ozbargain to come up.

    • QV did send mine without hassle, so hopefully your instance is the minority

Definitely better than the cheap stuff nearly everyone else uses that smells of metho. A very clean and neutral-smelling alcohol used in this.

  • Equivalent with 15dollar-per litre..Cool. It prompts me to review generic option replacements, such as at few bucks per- https://www.aldi.com.au/en/groceries/home-of-the-lowest-pric…
O' wells if this offered conventional rebate to AC\bank, I might have been tempted waste bit of time n petrol go further out of my way.butyea; risk n variables:)

Recent Razer promo was a cracker with ozb comments though.

but that one is a hand wash. Aqium is a hand sanitizer..

      • Yes indeed …

I never could work out why people think smearing a gel all over their hands and not washing anything off is "better" than washing your hands though.

Not that anyone can point to any evidence that using a product like this has any measurable benefits. Washing your hands can but that's why people wash their hands and don't use this ;)

        • Actually I think hand sanitisers are based on alcohol. The alcohol evaporates hence you don't need to rinse.

The ability of alcohol to kill viruses and so on is very well documented.

        • I have read (but don't have a source to provide you) that hand sanitizer is more effective because people don't generally wash their hands properly and for long enough to actually kill germs, whereas this stays on your hands long enough.

Of course this doesn't count if hands are visibly soiled because this won't wash anything off.

      • Alcohol-based hand sanitizers can reduce the number of germs on hands in some situations, but sanitizers do not eliminate all types of germs.
Hand sanitizers are not effective if your hands are visibly dirty.
I'd look at an >60 percent based alcohol cleanser perhaps for expediency. Remembering, it is "in addition to” hand washing.

  • up to $6.95

  • The other brand is better with really nice scent like chamomile lily coconut fig flavors this brand have no nice scents.

  • Bought the 375ml for $6.99 at Priceline today. They didn't have the aloe one in that size unfortunately. The Coles express I went to didn't even have the brand.

  • Can someone direct me to the list of eligible stores? Website T and C don't seem to have them

      • Cheers. Somehow I missed that

        • All good!

  • Thanks OP!

I'm going to get mine from amcal, use THANKS code from this post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/196016 (thanks to Pohster) for free shipping and 10% off

  • Hmmm, TC #19 (see below) is a bit iffy. Given that 'redemption' is evidently via an EFTPOS card (not sommat requiring an exact/verbatim name-match), not a cheque, it might be best not to use your exact name when filling out the online claim form… If you're finicky about such things, that is.

    TC #19:

19.Claimants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a successful claimant (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. - See more at: http://www.aqium.com.au/aqium-try-free-promotion-terms-and-c…

    • Chuckle, and how funny is this bit:

"… for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter."

OK we get it. You're trying to PROMOTE yourselves… ;P

  • Did the online cash back claim form work for you? IE11 crashed. With Chrome, there was a very long wait and then the web site returned this graphics. There was no confirmation and no reference number.

  • you will get a cashback in the amount of what you paid for it (up to recommended RRP of $4.99)

Got my EFTPOS card today for the full amount I paid, $6.99 at the local chemist. This should have read "up to recommended RRP".

    • I paid $6.99 and got a card worth $5.99. Not happy.

  • I've missed the deadline for claiming online. Would anybody have a copy of the official claim form? I can't actually click through to access it now. Thanks.

Mail Claim: visit www.aqium.com.au, follow the prompts to download and print an official claim form, fully complete the official claim form with all of the requested details (including their full name, a valid email address, their mailing address, and the name of Eligible Product they are claiming a refund for), provide a review of the Eligible Product in 15 words or more, attach a photocopy of their full purchase receipt to the claim form, and send together to “Aqium Try Me For Free Promotion, PO Box 6416, Frenchs Forest, NSW 2086” so it is received by last mail on 14/07/2015. - See more at: http://www.aqium.com.au/aqium-try-free-promotion-terms-and-c…

    • I think I completed mine online and I don't think I printed anything out, though I do remember mailing something in. I tried retrieving the entry form via the Internet Archive Wayback Machine but they only captured the main aqium page, not the entry form page. If I were you I'd contact them by phone ASAP and get them to send you something so you can reply by the shutoff date.

  • I got my card today. Unfortunately I paid the full price for it which means I loose a dollar, it was $1.50 cheaper a week earlier but i left it too late.

  • I got my card yesterday for $5.69 which was what I paid.
