  • I got the Logitech Z623 2.1 speakers @ $125… which is only slightly cheaper than MSY.com.au ($133) but still the cheapest I could find.

  • bought 5m ds hdmi cable for under $10, thanks OP.

As convenient as this is, I am not feeling comfortable with someone linking to an external website with ads and referral links en masse.

Honestly this is no different to just linking straight to camelcamelcamel and calling that a bargain.

    • +2

Adblock for chrome - it will change your life.

      • Doesn't remove the 3rd party site, deferrer for me, maybe its broken.

      • +1

A band aid solution is just ignoring the point.

It's not the ad I'm questioning, it's the fact that this is funneling the OzB community into that site.

        • Do your actually know what it does? No? didn't think so.

  • Can anyone comment on the quality of Move cases? I'm thinking of getting the Polycarbonate Snap Back one for my iPhone 6 Plus. It'll be for 3 weeks hiking. Usually I don't bother with cases…

    • Damn. Doesn't seem to be available for click and collect.

  • went to bunnings to try to price match the philips LED globe, but bunnings refuse to.

    • Did you include delivery?

      Bunnings Price Guarantee T&Cs

Excludes trade quotes, stock liquidations and commercial quantities. Shelf prices may be lower than advertised to ensure lowest prices every day.
Bunnings' price guarantee applies to any cheaper price found on an online store or in a physical store in Australia. It applies where the other store's final price, inclusive of delivery, taxes, fees and charges, is lower than our price.

      • it's click and collect, so no delivery cost

bunnings manager told me they refuse to match click and collect or any dick smith price that's show on their website.

        • That's rubbish. Show the manager the Bunnings T&Cs next time.

    • Is it the exact same item code? https://youtu.be/40YBTM1C70w

      If it is, complain 👍

Thanks OP! I purchased the Korjo travel adapter 3 pack for $7.50. http://www.dicksmith.com.au/travel-accessories/travel-adapto…

It covers all of the developed world.

I understand that the eBay ones are cheaper, but often don't meet the Australian standards - would hate to kill a device or worse cause a fire.

    • +4

Pays never muck around with power adapters & chargers.

Every Korjo electrical product – adaptors, travel iron, water boiler, travel jug, hair dryer and USB hub – is rigorously tested to comply with the relevant Australian and New Zealand Electrical Standards.

    • Good pick up.

    • i guess asia isn't covered part of the developed world lol

      • Singapore and Malaysia use the British type plug. Indonesia and Thailand appear to use the European type. Surely that earth pin on the "USA" plug can be unscrewed for use in places like Japan and indeed some older sockets in the US itself. No? Then you're screwed if you purchase this pack.

  • Still have not got my Click & Collect purchases from the last one of these sales. Only got the confirmation today that they are ready for pick up. For some reason they have left off a couple of items from my Click & Collect order and charged me for those items. All the items are in stock at the store, so waiting for some explanation from them.

I have grown to love this camera.
Good price, great features that are customisable via a hidden web server.
    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/security/d-link-wi-fi-baby-camer…

    • Agreed, ours has been brilliant, particularly since they fixed up the IOS app.

      • Yup. There was a new Android app that worked a lot better as well

    • These are great, I use Cam ViewerIP on an old re-purposed iPad original. BabyCam is on 24x7.

  • Was hoping the chromebook would be on sale but its not. I missed the sale last week when it was about $306 on their ebay store

  • Anyone know if any cheap Gel Mous Mats are for sale in this list?

  • Phillips led bulb on sale?
People using 12.5w are they enough bright? I'm using 70w old style bulb and feel they are not bright. I'm comparing warm whites.

    • +1

12.5w should be enough. I went from using a 70ish watt halogen, nice and bright but would produce a lot of heat to the 14w Philips led. The leds was much brighter.

    • Not sure about Phillips but the cheap one I got from masters ($5) has a narrower beam angle, when compared to CFL or incandescent.
Really depends on how the leds' layout within the bulb

  • +1

Can't you put this in a nice responsive jquery table, such as datatables?

    • +1

I'm sure I can - I'll look into it. Thanks!

      • +1

I can supply you with the relevant source code if you're interested.

        • I think were good.

        • @snoo: Much better!

    • +2

      Can't you use manners? ;-)

      • Ops. That did come off a little rude.

  • Bought some headphones though they are not even that cheap after "a huge discount". I paid about $70 for 3 pairs.

  • +5

It amuses me that this is the same sale which DSE offers up 3-4 times a week and someone does a table and everyone loves it.

  • That NERF terradrone robot will be perfect for my boy's birthday coming up soon.

  • Where is my good GoPro deal DSE?

  • No eneloops? Very disappointing dick.

    • +1

Can confirm that's what she said :D

      • +2

Yeah. Must have run out of the batteries in the toys.

  • OP can you do the same listing for HN and Jb hi-fi, and combine them all into one huge table for price comparison?

Can you also make a price history chart like camelcamelcamel does?

    • +4

While he's at it he can pay off my mortgage too

  • +1

how much money does he make from referrals? How can I do this?

  • +2

First thing I do is search for headphones. I have many pairs of headphones. WHY DO I DO THIS?

Good price on the Sennheiser CX300II, $36 when they're $35US on Amazon ($75 at JB). Phillips SHE's are a bargain at $6, I think I grabbed them at $11. Going to get another pair just cause.

Good price on the Sennheiser 449s too, not the best though.

    • Thanks for that.

    • I found a great price for the wireless Sony MDR-HW300K
$117 here, $229 at JB Hi-Fi. Cheapest at $156 per staticice.

      • hmm good deal.. it's $499 @ kogan LOL and $99.98USD @ amazon

  • +1

    uhh..

    DS 2xRCA Plugs to 2xRCA Plugs Audio Cable 5.0m $32.98 $3.22 90.24%

These are the cheap rca cables that I'm pretty sure I've never seen any higher than $10 definitely never been over $30 this actually looks like the original price was an error, a very suspicious and conveniently timed error.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit: Point being impulse buyers beware the % off might be misleading.

    • seems about right for DSE … they are 5m

  • UNIDEN UH8080S is cheapest I have seen on the web 0 $293.xx Cheapest around Gadgetcity $349 if your looking for in vehicle cb with all the bells

  • -3

I bought one of these, went to pick it up and they said they had no idea about the product!
I said oh thats good I could buy it cheaper! and I did!
So who pays for full price for these? there was no bargain there!

    • bought one of what exactly?

      • +1

        bought one of what? exactly

        • +1

          Exactly bought one of what!

        • +1

          @CandyMan:
Pal bought one of these. Not hard to understand.

        • +1

          @ms:
I'm confused: did Pal buy one of these or one of what?

        • +1

          @CandyMan:
          He bought one of those.
          Who's on first base?

        • @ms:
Yes, that's exactly what I bought! Thanks for understanding!

  • Thanks OP.
