Vapiano is offering a FREE "Winter Warmer" for the next week with the attached voucher that I received in an email. It appears to be a completely free offer, no purchase required. One per person per day. Choose from:

Brazilian Style Cookie Layered Pie $5.90
Light and creamy filling around milk soaked biscuits - topped with a delicate layer of chocolate - YUM!

Orange Ginger Punch $14
A fresh cocktail with a warm feeling for winter. Cointreau, Pampero Especial Dark Rum, orange juice and ginger beer cocktail with a sugar coated rim - Belissimo!

2013 Cork Cutters Grenach Small $9

    I had the "Brazilian Style Cookie Layered Pie" tonight in Sydney.

    Either it hadn't set properly or it was just plain bad. It was just like a glass of melted cookies & cream ice cream with a thin layer of chocolate on top.

    I asked the maître d' if it was supposed to be like that and she confirmed that it was, although she could barely speak English so who knows…

    Can't complain since it was free. I'm looking forward to trying their other offerings.

    Claimed this today, they didn't really know about it and they were pretty reluctant given that we hadn't bought anything else. But the terms and conditions are pretty clear…

    Pie was tasty but I'm not sure why it's called a pie. The ginger drink that we had was decent, considering the girl who made it for us was on her first shift.

    Free, 8/10 can't complain.

    I had the "Orange Ginger Punch" last night in Sydney.

    The sharp-looking bartender grabbed the Pampero but looked unsure, hopped to my side of the bar to read the product description then started on the cocktail:

    The rim of a highball glass was turned through a fresh slice of orange before being encrusted with sugar. Three slices of orange, Cointreau, a long pour of Pampero Especial Dark Rum (thanks mate) and a shot of a mysterious clear liquid (vodka?) were shaken over ice. The concoction was poured into the highball glass, topped off with orange juice and a whiff of Bundaberg Ginger Beer (something tells me the vodka? displaced it) and garnished with a sprig of mint.

    4 standard drinks for $0? I'll be returning tonight, and every other night! :D

    First time visiting Vapiano… Went to the Mel CBD one last night. Had a full meal, ambiance was great. Food was very good, the free specials were a nice touch. Interesting billing system - everyone is given a card upon entry. This card is like a bar tab and is tapped at the counter when you order something. You pay it off before you leave

    The staff are lovely. As they ran out of the cookie thing, the manager willingly swapped it over for a free soup (yummy). Nice to see the pasta being made right there, and to see it cooked right in front of you.

    9/10 would visit again.
