Dr Oetker Pizza $2.49 Ea @ Spud Shed (WA ONLY)

740

Cheapest I've seen it, usually only drops to $3.79 when half price at Coles.

Delicious and easy to make pizza.

the spinach pizza is great, made in Germany . the ones with meat are made in Australia.

    • +1

Yep that spinach one is good.

Their Mushroom, and Cheese Pizza's are also made in Germany.

      • yep, no meat. mozzarella one is good too. Not at full price though but around $3 is great.

  • Soooo….how do you pronounce "Oetker" anyway? Discovered a new variety the other day (which isn't even listed on their website). Prosciutto = 7/10

  • I'm buying up so many of these, I'll have to borrow the wife's Suzkui Jimmy as won't fit in my Lada Niva

        no we're not..its funny as f**k

  • OMG These taste amazing for a frozen product, shame they're only on sale for $5 down here at coles.

Good deal…just keep an eye on the expiry date.
I find that cheap grocery items at the Spud Shed are usually because they have short expiry on the used by date, or are past their best before already.

    • Thanks for the heads up

    • You've got to wonder what (or which oligopoly supermarket chain) drove this massive oversupply to happen,

    • The date on the one I just had said 19-08-2015. Still plenty of time

      • -1

Yeah still plenty of time, but that is the reason why it is so cheap.

Supermarkets would have a minimum days acceptance life that they would accept these into their DC's. It would be checked for each delivery and for frozen goods I imagine would be at least 90 days but most like 180+ days.

Regardless of whether coles/woollies get a supplier rebate and sell these for $2 or $6 it would still need to be followed.

Happens all the time, but you do need to wonder how the supplier got stuck with so much stock. It's not like they didn't have previous opportunity to get rid of the stock.

bought so many that have to put in my wife's Range Rover as wouldn't fit in an X5.

  • Hope there's still some left by tomorrow…

  • CAN OP confirm is this is Innaloo or Jandakot?

    • +1

Bought some at Innaloo last night.

    • +2

GPS coordinates of OP photo Exif data suggest Innaloo

      • nice

      • I love being Exif tracked! :p

But yeah, this was Innaloo Spud Shed

      • wow! that's scary as! so much information from one photo

  • Baldivis does too

  • That's a great deal. Normally $7 at Coles NSW. Robbing cnts.

  • Definately a decent tasting pizza option!

Has anyone see the stocks at Wanneroo?

    • Just came back from Wanneroo, none left. Replaced them with McCains.
First time at spudshed wanneroo felt like a rally track, might need to get my suspension checked.

  • Was at the jandakot store today - they only had the mushroom/spinache and cheese pizzas anyone know which store has the peperoni ones? Tried calling but no one picks up.
