Little side note

To all ozbargainers, please be as kind as you can to all Big W staff. Can you imagine them searching for each game in the draw then when they go put it in the cases, they go back to their register and see another 5+ people waiting in line just to do it all again with the next customer? You got some others who aren't interested in the deal (like people who have to get their digital photos printed) and some of them may get impatient. This causes big stress for both the staff member and the customer. Please praise them for their efforts as thats the least we can all contribute.

    I was at Murray Bridge last night - no consoles and very few games. Tried Arndale (AKA Kilkenny) at opening time this morning and it was a mad rush. They had a few 2DS left but they'd all d be gone by now.

        Some skylander stuff…various 360 games. Couple of those old ps3 sharp shooter guns which will be fun for me and the kid. Nothing that special considering what others scored but a fun start to the day.

    Annoyed people buying 5 + of the same game, big w should have enforced 1 copy per game per person rule to make it fair IMO

    Got the PS4 dentiny bundle, NBA 2K14 and 2DS Pokemon Y for $253!!! This was at the Bendigo store. They had over a 20 xbox ones left when I bought the PS4 at 9.00 am.

    Blacktown BIG W had heaps of stock from what I saw there were 1 titanfall consoles and 4 Pokemon X/Y DS that where available, woke up late and arrived at around 8:40, but I was able to get some decent xbox one games like Forza, NBA 2k14, Need for Speed Rivals, Transformers: rise of the dark spark and COD:Ghost.

      That's quite unfair IMO, Big W created this pricing to clear out stock, this site only helped ensure people were aware of their pricing (which I doubt most would have been especially the consoles) and they then where able to sell off all their excess old stock they no longer wanted sitting around taking up space for premium price stock that they could sell.

      If anything the OP employee should be given a big bonus, imagine how much even one TV advertisement or catalog page printed 10 million times in colour then distributed to every letterbox around the country would cost especially when you compare it to the price of a OZb post ($0)

      The real issue/complaint to be made here is the management who didn't introduce a 1 title per platform, per person policy with the leniency for purchasing 1 additional copy for a friend if the person seemed genuine (i.e. not broden taking 2 copies of everything).

        Id say thats pretty logical. You pretty much hit the nail on the head with all aspects. This post would've saved the company lots of money with marketing but as I said before, some may think otherwise but i'm sure I didn't break the employment policy

    Phoenix in WA is cleaned out. Just a couple of bins full of Gears 3, Steel Diver, various future landfill (zero PS4/XB1 games). Some Skylanders and Disney Infinity packs, though, but the girl there made it perfectly clear there was no chance of any consoles.

      I went to Karrinyup in WA at 8am and all they had were various 360 and PS3 games. I found one NBA2K14 on PS4 but someone had stolen the disc! What a crumb, the game is only $3! When I went there yesterday the guy said the sale was starting today but it turned out they started the sale 1 hour after I left. Frustrating.

    For those in WA
    was at Big W Belmont 8am this morning. no consoles (ps4/Xbox one for $200). hardly any ps4 or Xbox one games for $3. a few of the older ones like NBA2K14 scanned for $3.
    they had a bunch of 3DS games without packaging out back like Pokemon X/Y etc. snagged a few for $3.
    had some Xbox 360/PS3 for $50. think they're all gone now :/

      There were a few 360s and ps3s at around 830 at Belmont, but probably all gone now. Riverton and Livingston didnt have much left of any games either.

      Got there at about 9am, all consoles were gone. Saw a guy wheeling the last Skylanders PS3 bundle in a trolley while scanning everything he could get his hands on. He even grabbed the long cardboard display for Battlefield to scan thinking it was actually a offer.

      But many thanks to whoever stashed a bunch of XBOne games behind PS4 Lego Jurassic World, I'm going to enjoy Thief and COD.

      Big W Kingsley was pretty cleaned out by the time I got there 1min after opening. There were 3 guys waiting at the console cabinet to nab whatever DS were on offer.

    A mate just got back from Kwinana in WA.

    Only game he saw on offer was a stack of BF4 on the 360 for $3.

    He did meet an extremely nice fellow Ozbargainer who was getting the girl behind the counter to scan some 2DS's.

    Apparently the guy bought one for himself, then offered the other ones to my mate to buy…massive props to you champ!

    Incidentally my mate didn't buy anything, so that game and the consoles should still be available.

    Oh please, these are at an insane price purely to clear stock. They won't care who posted it on here, it did its job and cleared stock. Sure some individual unprepared stores may whinge but corporate welfare not care as long as old stock is gone

    Nothing big at Noarlunga, Hallet Cove or Seaford. 1 or 2 psp-1000s at a couple of the stores, heaps of 3ds games (not sure if on sale), Noarlunga still had a few different interesting Xbone titles on sale. Few PS3 chat headsets at Seaford. Disappointingly no 3ds or 2ds were on sale.
    Stacks of the old handheld nintendo and wiiu starter kits.

    Went to West Ryde and confirmed all console and majority of game is gone.

    Met person who waited and rushed in to the shop but didn't make it sounds like it was already gone yesterday.

    So sad I'm missing XBoxOne but just picked up starter kit for PS4 that cost $3.

        They were in a cardboard case size of a game case. Here They only had 2 left. They were on a bench in a box behind the counter.
