Just find this on HUKD, cheaper than the xbox live deal yesterday. Fast delivery too, got mine instantly. Also cdkeys.com seems more reliable than most cdkey resellers. To get $38.07, you need to like them on facebook, to get 5% off.

Price before Facebook like = US $29.79 or AU $40.07 (using PayPal rates)

Price after Facebook like 5% off = US $28.30 or AU $38.07 (using PayPal rates)

Paying in $US via 28 degrees or similar will save a dollar or so compared to PayPal rates.

"To get $37.07, you need to like them on facebook"

I think my pride is worth more than a dollar.

        • taking two minutes to create another facebook account is fine by me.

          @lyl:

Logged into my fake guys facebook…he has more friends than my real one :(

  • It's actually $38.07. People don't seem to like Facebook likes these days. Is $0.92 worth liking a Facebook page AND entering your email to be given out to random third parties :D

    • entering your email to be given out to random third parties :D

      Not if you use 10minutemail!

  • I keep getting 'Unable to place the order' :/

Edit, seemed to go through the next few times going 'Checkout' then 'PayPal'

  • The other deal through onlinekeystore came to $37.04 if paying via PayPal with the code OKSSUMMER and didn't require Facebook for me

    • Price seemed to have gone up to over $40 on that deal (tried earlier)

      • Ah I see, grabbed it at lunch time today must have just got in in time

  • I got 12 months of xbox gold last week for $12 from big w

    • From catalogue or walk in special at particular store?

      • Big W had a nationwide Gaming clearance.

A majority of old stock were marked down to $3, where most (if not, all) were cleared within 2 days. It was first known from an Ozbargain post and that alone was enough to get people in their stores. With no formal advertisements from Big W, it caught a lot of staff members off-guard and kept the Entertainment department busy.

So, it was not a catalogue special, nor a special at a particular store. It was a 'secret' sale, if you will.

  • Just bought. Got it instantly and applied. Good deal!

  • It's now US$31 before discount.
