Was looking to buy RP2 and this the cheapest I could find

the case was $11.55 before

link to the case

you can apply both of the codes in your cart
proof of my order

please note free shipping only apply with +$45 orders
so if you want to buy both you need something around $2 (I ordered some cable ties, not sure what I am going to do with it)

if you are willing to use it as media centre for your tv may be its a good idea to buy this Keyboard
if you need wifi dongle

      • Yes, I suppose you're right although I did have a few more things in the cart. So it meant about $9 I missed out on. Still an OK deal, just not great anymore.

Anyway I placed the order. The Pi 2 worked out to $39.86 PLUS GST. I don't know how the OP screenshot shows no GST.

    • I found this too. I can apply the other code fine, but that one doesn't apply with the exact same error. Maybe it expired once it got OzBargained despite it being legit?

  • Ordered. retropie here I come!

  • "I ordered some cable ties, not sure what I am going to do with it." - Deal has expired, but this could give you some ideas;-) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/94692

  • 10WINNERAU does not seem to work. Can someone else confirm? The first one works though. I thought the 10WINNERAU expired on 3rd July that is today.

  • Do you order via the http://au.element14.com/ site, or the Australian affiliates it give you a list of?

    • I posted a couple of hours ago about it not working anymore.

Just tried your link and still no go. Only the C17JUNEAU works.

  • I wonder if this lot would be cheaper for the retro games pack? $114.

    • No way. All that is of value are the two $6 snes controllers.

      • Even now the 10WINNERAU code has expired?

Also has the SD card pre-installed with RetroPie.

        • Yep. Sd cards are minimal cost Depends on what you need.

      • Actually two $4.23 SNES controllers. See here. Price is $AU after Paypal conversion and includes delivery.

  • 10WINNERAU is expired. C17JUNEAU is still valid.

  • Did anyone else get $12.95 deducted for shipping?? My PDF order has no shipping cost included, hence a different total from what they deducted!!

  • I have just had a weird experience with Element14 using these codes. On 3/7 ordered 3 items using coupon total cost = 55.76 with free postage. I authorized a VISA payment for same. Today I get a despatch mail saying they are sending me two items (one not there anymore with no explanation)now including postage as two items went under $45, total cost now = $60.85 (an amount I DID NOT authorize).

Are they usually like this? Is this good business practice because I am pretty annoyed about it? I will be contacting them about it tomorrow, I only just got the email.

    • If E14 have made an error, they'll fix it quickly. The staff there are very friendly.
Are you sure you didn't forget the GST?

    • For me , they only charged for the RP2 and received it next day. I can't see the rest of my order under my account. So no Sure if I am going to get it or they choose to drop it. Will contact them soon to find out but I hope they cancelled it so I can order case from somewhere else with cheaper price as I only was interested in the RP2 from them,
Also they didn't charge me any shipping fees (my order <$45).

    • OK, contacted Element14 and got a quick efficient response. They made a mistake charging postage and are refunding it. The nice lady said even if orders are split (which is happening in this case as the missing item is now on backorder) there is no extra cost or postage cost as a result.

A good customer response, it took about two minutes on the call (which was answered promptly) and I am a relieved happy customer. The initial part order arrived today as well which was very quick service. Thanks Element14! I wish my occasional issues with other companies were handled as efficiently and quickly :)

    • Yep got two! Now $4 each. :-)
