I went to Springvale HN after reading your post. The guy told me HN wont price match JB HiFi V6 for $399 but can do for $429 or DC45 for $299, they have dysons on RRP in store. When I ask about $25, he said you can only use that online and he believe all V6 were taken off HN website and I wont get the bonus wine either, blahblah…
I went HN online and showed another guy the check out page of $474 + 12 Bottles Of Wine, the original sale guy pretended to be busy and wont talk to me. I just wanted to take one home but he said just go online then.

Don't shop at HN Springvale, the sales people are the worst I ever experienced. They even mocked me for asking which washing machine is "better".
Never go back there although I often go to Ikea Springvale and other stores in the same building.

those who say it won't replace a normal vac are crazy or must have massive houses. I can vacuum my house on the low setting in 20 minutes. (Granted I have to empty the canister a few times as we have a labrador) but the convienience of not dragging around a big arse vacuum is more than worth it.
Gets under couches etc really good too.

I Want to get one but worried about the 20 min time frame, I guess I should test how long it takes my current which seems to take a long time. How many room do you have?
Because it's convenient you will vacuum high traffic areas more often. I say keep a normal vac if you have one but you won't get it out as often.
You don't have to vacuum the entire house on one go as well.
Its not that simple as for example the V6 might be stronger than your current corded vac and would pick up more. Basically first few cleans you will be picking up more but once you are on top of the dirt and dust you won't be emptying as often or filling up as quick.

Yeah, very good value. I reckon the the wines are probably worth about $10-$12 each realistically (rather than the inflated cracka prices. So probably just under $300 for the vac in real terms. :-D

I got the non-animal version last night pricematched to JB for $399. I did not think I needed the animal's mini-motorhead and I did not want another case of cheap random wine. I picked up additional 4 years of replacement warranty though.
