  • Looks good and cheap :) Windows 7 works great on these…

    • Funny that Windows 7 can cost this much on its own. With Win 7 this is a positive from me, plus it has Atom N280, Wifi N and LED screen. 28.5mm thick seems a litte more than others though, so I won't replace my Asus just yet, but at this price I guess you can't argue.

  • No bluetooth and one speaker hmmm not sure this is very good for music lovers

  • Is there an error in the title or something I'm not seeing?

Clicking on the link it shows the laptop at $499.

    • use the code end of decade maybe?

    • enter the coupon? "EndOfDecade"

      • yep thats it $100 enter the code at the checkout

        • Roger

  • wow sounds good.

  • Would rather a dell mini with win 7 starter anyday or a Lenovo s10-2 for 358.00 there's plenty in stock

I wouldnt say Samsung have a long history of making good notebooks, sure there are some happy owners out there somewhere

    • Yep I'm a (very) happy Samsung notebook owner. VERY happy. I've had Dells too, and they do not compare to my Samsung NC20. It's so good I'm even thinking about getting one of these for the hell of it.

      • Yay nice to hear it :)

  • but no bluetooh? hmmmm i know dongle is cheap but still have to use 1 usb and possible decreasing battery life

  • can i run photo editing s/w (adobe element, lightroom) on this lappy?

    • -1

      Not really, no

    • Yes, easily. I run Corel PSPX regularly on my NC20 (and that's with Firefox et al. open in the background). The only sticking point might be the screen, which could be too small for proper viewing.

  • What is a 3/6 cell battery? Is it a 3-cell or a 6-cell battery?

    • I'd also like to know this. 3 cell batteries suck

    • I'd assume it's just a copy/paste error from another source.

Why not get the ASUS 1005HA-PU1X for about the same price — with bluetooth, wireless n, a 6 cell battery (rated at ~10 hours)… and receive ASUS' international warranty.
