  • wow nice deal!!

  • i left aanet a year ago - was waiting for them to provide adsl2+ at my exchange and gave up on them! would be a great deal otherwise…

  • +1

aanet has very poor adsl2+ coverage.

  • Agreed, they have no plans to upgrade my exchange either and i'm only 10km from Melbourne CBD…

They've also got a history if sneaking in extra costs recently…
first credit card processing fees, then upping the price of plans to supposably pay for 'extra' service now being provided…

  • Too bad, ADSL2 isn't available in my area otherwise I would've sign up…

  • +1

TPG 60gb+60gb for $50 deal was much better.

this $0 churn and first 6 months half price things are just gimmick.
not impressive enough to make people churn.

  • TPG/Exetel has better deals.

    • i think you'll find the aaNet network a bit more reliable though…

      • I find TPG's in game ping lower and less drop out. Also no persistent email problem.

  • Left aaNet 6 months ago. This is not good value compare to tpg/exetel. The only good value plan aaNet has at the moment is the $5.99 PAYG plan. Funny that is not up there.

  • I'm sorry but I don't think this is a good deal at all. I looked into this for my family and these guys aren't suitable IMO.

Proxy Issues - Causing many internet problems, you can get taken off if you have a good reason
    Excess Usage Charges
Whirlpool users say that aanet can be very slow at times.
Poor support - they didn't fix their virus infected forums
    And more

I have never been with aanet

I'm not going to neg this because I have never been a customer of aanet. But Everyone tells me to stay away.
