Great laptop if the fan wasnt going the whole time

was meant to be one post oops

  • Hey Godfather are you a rep for HT ? if so please get a rep account ?

  • ouch 1k for a 1.3ghz processor. Most netbooks are $600, hmmmm i guess its pretty…

Do you know anything about laptops? Show me a laptop with the same specs for around that price. Its a core2duo not atom or netbook.

      • I got my toshiba A600 for $999 in Aug, with su9400, 3G, 250G HDD, fingerprint, bluetooth, WIFI, webCam from officeworks. The reason is because that's the last unit in store and on clearance. I know A600 worth less than adamo, but it was also over 3k when released. For the last one or two units, don't be too surprised, they could be display models.

        • I bought a Vaio TT 11.1" a little cheaper than this adamo, but this get a 128gb SSD. at this price and comparing to an macbook air, I'd say its pretty good.

But if you after multi-media, an ion netbook would be much better.

i dont know many netbooks that have a core 2 duo in them or a 128gb ssd, it was focused as the Dell version of the macbook air not a netbook

FYI guys.. Dell are offering $500 off with a coupon code (RTCCBQFGS44HFC) which Brings it down to $1,298.49.

HT still out guns it just

    • as opposed to direct from dell (delivered free to your door) and the option of selecting upgrades?

    • What, HT has 2 units plus cost of postage, Dell has more then 2 units plus free postage? ermk :)

Either way it was a good find

  • Order immediately as these offers tend to be gone once they get here.

That's my experience with trying to order a Toshiba R500 (which had a nice price-dropping trend on HT, all the way down to $897!)

  • You get too excited and post it twice, just calm down, lol
128G SSD @ $1289 isn't bad though, but only 2 units can be hardly called bargain, remember the 100 TD post from uBank?

better specs than this one by far…

admittedly this does have an SSD… but for the price… damn!

128GB SSDs can be had for around 300 at CPL…

another one… doing a quick search there are heaps of laptops with better specs that are C2D's more than 300 dollars less (enough to buy the SSD!)

    • The Adamo laptop is in a different class to the laptops from the 2 links you have posted….. The Adamo is along the lines of Ultra-mobile core2duo laptop that can to the Macbook Air & Lenovo X301… The ones you listed are not ultra-mobile.
