  • Have you tried this with linux?
In partuclar a Linux Mint Cinnamon 64bit live USB.

  • can we get some usb 3 up in this hizzie?

    • The "F" and "G" are entry-level atom chips, and have usb3 disabled.

      @mathew42
assuming its like the other generic minipcs, you can install linux on these but need to add a 32-bit uefi to the boot-drive, and 32-bit grub to the install.
Don't expect wifi or battery data to work.

  • title say 5000mah
    description say 1000mAh?

    • 1000mAH is the old model

This would make a good little car computer if you didn't want to use a tablet.

    • But why? You'd then need to purchase a touch screen monitor, which would cost more and have lower resolution than available tablets.

hence the "if you didn't want to use a tablet"

  • At the bottom of the website where it says 'What a VOYO V2 mini pc tv box can do?'
A lot of effort must've been put into copy and pasting them VOYO boxes onto stock images….

  • I'd be jumping all over this if it weren't for the pipo X7 still going strong.

  • Thinking about getting one. How long will they be this price? When do they ship?

    • Looks like end of the Month they will have stock
as this is a PRE~sale then maybe 7 days form then
      Could be wrong

  • So this has a SSD slot for a SSD yeah?

    • no.

  • If you dont want the battery feature of this device i'd personally go for Pipo X7 or X8.

  • Worth having a look at this article as some of the specification seem a little off.

$10 is a very cheap SSD. I wonder what the real story is. Particularly the interface.

  • I will bet the gigabit ethernet port is connected via a usb2 hub ic (this is typical of chinese brand mini pcs) so dont expect true Gigabit speeds. sounds like they just replaced the 32GB eMmc with a 64 one…

    • Ah, that explains why it only has one USB-A host port, instead of the usual two.

The 64GB "SSD" sounds like it is a micro-SD card thrown in. That is solid state, right? :)

  • Too cheap to be SSD. The x9 is a little pricier but a better unit.

  • It claims 4K res & the ability to use CAD ……. curious to know how they manage that.

  • I'd be quite tempted if they had one without windows (or without any os really), seen a few that sport ubuntu and some android but they never quite seem to have what im after. but the version with the extra 64g "ssd" without an OS i would almost certainly buy myself
