  • Not sure about the micro-usb power input, I think it only supplies power to the two (full-sized) USB's.

I tried one of these cables with my T100 but couldn't get it to charge through micro-USB output.

  • It is supposed to do OTG and charge at the same time, but only works with some devices. OTG is not intended for that.
There is another model with a switch that has a better chance of working, but still usually only one mode at a time.

I bought this a few weeks ago.

I can charge my Teclast X89 at the same time as using an external 2.5" 2tb HDD and mouse/keyboard. It's great and IMO worth buying for a few dollars more over these ones where there are complaints where people can't charge and use multiple USB devices at the same time. Although I would be interested in if anyone that has these style of OTG adapters can confirm what functions it has.

For me the switch on number 1 charges the tablet and lets me use OTG with a HDD (powered over USB) & mouse/keyboard, so the instructions on the eBay listing might not be correct.

      • Thanks, will give it a try.

      • I bought one with a switch on it for my Hi8. It didn't work.

Did you get it shipped standard freight, or pay the $599 for express shipping like I did. I'm pretty impatient for this cable to arrive.

  • Mine arrived today. These don't work as advertised. I had a charging USB cable that when plugged directly into my phone, would charge, but when plugged in through this OTG adapter, no charge.

Tried both USB -> PC and USB -> AC. Worked directly, didn't work through OTG adapter. Shit product.

    • Where does it say that they charge?

This one states that it charges, while the one in the deal does not.

      • On the packet it came in.

        • It's likely that the factory is using the same packet for multiple OTG devices. Charging via OTG is not standard, but an extra feature. Generally if Geekbuying's description does not mention it, then it doesn't do it.
