    Just got this from JB myself for 778 with the Chromecast bundle and Google voucher. I sold the voucher last night for $18, someone is buying the Chromecast for me from work for $40 and I'm getting the TRS refund shortly ($71). Popped it on the 28degrees so hopefully it goes down in price too.

    So just $649 for the H815T Aussie stock with 2 year warranty.

    Pretty nice phone.

      If you get this phone at this price now, you still would be able to sell it at around $400 next year, which is not bad at all. All other phones will not be anywhere cheaper than this deal. But if you wait for a few months, you should be able to get LG G4 just under $500 mark.

    Hi All,

    My phone arrived to me yesterday, is it normal for it all to be in another language and a user account already created called "Owner"?

    I used YouTube to find the right place to go to in the settings to put it into English so that was no major drama, then factory reset the phone as there was other apps installed I hadn't seen before on any previous android phone.

    After the factory reset it started up into the Wizard I expect to see where you add your google account and transfer your settings from your old phone.

    Is this all normal with these Kogan phones?

      This makes me worried. Does Kogan sell refurbished or used phones as "new"?
      If you hadn't done a factory reset, I wonder whether you could have contacted Kogan and asked for an explanation/refund/return for a new unit, but nothing prevents them from factory resetting yours and re-selling as 'new'.

        I have already left them a message on Ebay asking what the go is and am waiting to hear back, I will let you know when I hear anything.

        Nothing else about the phone makes it appear as anything other than brand new, all of the plastic strips protecting the phone were still in place, manual locked in its paper housing (albeit also in Chinese), they put a sticker on the box saying "Tested by Kogan" or similar so I think it may just be a matter of they test the phone before sending it out to ensure its working, I would have thought however it would then be there own procedure to factory reset it back to normal, and not leave it with a user account and in Chinese.

      From my tracking, phone is coming from HK.

      Maybe worth ringing Kogan and ask. Anyway it comes with 12mth Kogan warranty.

    The tracking link in your email from Kogan will probably be not working as of now. In the live chat with Kogan earlier, the rep said "Toll's other tracking website is currently upgrading.".

    How does everyone find the QuadBeat 3 (the earphone that comes with it)? I've heard good things about it (for a bundle earphone) and was thinking of buying it at one point.

      I just plugged them in to have a listen to them, they aren't the greatest in my opinion, seem a little tinny or have a slight hollowness about them (I'm no audio expert mind you) they are definitely better than the usual dribble that come with a phone however.

      They don't hold a candle however to my normal phone earphones the Jaybird Bluebud X's (Which is to be expected).

        That actually doesn't sound too bad, since half the time, what people told me was good has too much bass (for me). Though that sounds more like a problem with using tips that are too small (at least from what I've heard about the earphone anyways)
        I might try them out, since I really don't want to push my budget to $300 ish region (which I might have to from looking at all the earphones I've got after getting recommendations from people).

    Just received mine.

    The interface is in Chinese.

    Then do a factory reset.

    Coming from Galaxy S3, I notice a slightly irritating behaviour of G4's touch screen. When scrolling up/down on webpages that have links, if the finger lands on a link, it is recognised as a 'click' as well as a slide, which means the page scrolls up/down but the link opens as well. Same issue with the facebook app. It happens when the contact point is small ie when I use the edge of the index or middle finger to slide up/down.

    Finally, got the phone and so far very impressed. LG UI is not overbearing like Samsung.

    Toll didn't deliver to Parcel Collect. Had to arrange for pick up at Bankstown depot.

    Didn't have to do factory reset as Phone comes with English interface.

    Charger is Australia. They put in a travel adapter. Looks like Asian region type.

    Many thanks to OP. My missus is very happy after being Iphone users for many years.

      You can turn it on and just start using it.

      The phone should come with about 50% charge.

    anyone notice how long to fully charge it with the charger they provided? i charged mine since midnight last night at 5% remaining and after 10 hrs its only done 81%.
