  • -Response Time : 5ms (Gray to Gray) :(
    -60 Hz :(

Awesome price for the resolution it has. Bad for fps gaming or any competitive gaming.

    • i've been playing fps games on competetive level at 5ms 60hz just fine.

Is there any IPS Screens with less then 5ms? They are all TN panels right?

      • At the competitive level, you should probably invest in a 144 Hz panel. 144 Hz makes a world of difference.

TN panel, 1 ms, 144 Hz > Any IPS screen unless you have the $1200 for the Acer, 144 Hz, IPS panel.
Name one known competitive gamer who uses an IPS panel. lol

I honestly don't know why people think IPS matters. Viewing angles aren't important neither does colour fidelity.

People in Fnatic have used Eizo IPS displays

      • IPS Screens with less then 5ms?

Look up IPS Gsync, and then get blown away by it's performance. And price tag.

        • That's an amazing screen. Linustechtips does a good review of it.

  • It's between this and the Dell U2515H. Dell are having a 16% discount on monitors. Final price is $430 including 2% cashback…

    • Oh, looks like the 16% finished

Those in the market for 27" and above monitors should have a look at a brand named CrossOver. I bought 1 almost 4 years ago (model: 2730MD LED) and it's still doing well. A quick search on eBay shows you can get 1 for A$400 and above, depending on the model you choose, inclusive of shipping.

Same here. Had mine for a while now, even replaced the driver board and OC'd it to 100hz

  • I've been rocking a Qnix 27" 1440p PLS monitor for a couple years, cost me $300 back then. No way I would pay $600 for a similar monitor like this. My next monitor must be: 34", curved, widescreen 21:9, 120hz+, 1-2ms response, freesync. Any recommendations?
