  • Just got the email myself but the second part says spend $125 for $25. They must be hosting that image and changed it? Try opening the email again.

I suspect they do this so after the promo date they can update it again with an 'expired' image so people don't get confused.

      • Too funny. Oh you have no idea! Wait till they get older Mr walking atm. Wait till they get a stomach bug and everyone in the family does. The joy! Baby wipes will become your best friend. Worth it though. Congratulations :)

        • i love wet wipes!!!… we have them everywhere! just in case…

        • @scud70: Be kind to mother earth

Whilst your stocking up on nappies at Big W have a look for the big 10 pack box of curash wipes. They only stock them periodically but in my opinion they are the best combination of price, absorbancy and minimal irritants.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

        • Yup i second that.

        • Advice on wipes. Love it. My 5 cents, (since 2 cents doesn't exist anymore) i choose aldi ones for price and quality over any others. Wipes are handy not just for babies. Now i need to get a life! Lol

  • Buy iTunes cards at 20% off at the same time

    • +1

'all Gift Cards' excluded, according to T&C's.

      • Gift cards with preset values (such as iTunes) MAY work. Never tried these Big W coupons though so not entirely sure..

        • +2

Coupon did not work for me buying a $100 Myer gc at self checkout during the last Big W coupon deal

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/206101

          No discount was applied.

Bazwick got same result on a Supercheap Auto gc (see comments). Did not work :(

      • Yes, you are right they also have started calling iTunes cards gift cards. Pity just bought $160 of iTunes cards.

  • I emailed them early this morning for clarity on the $20/25 and had a return email saying they would investigate further and may take 3-5 business days to reply!! LOL good timing for end of deal!

    • +3

The facebook page says they're honouring both (20 for 100 / 25 for 125) redeemable via Everyday Rewards directly.

      • Cheers!

  • is this a targeted offer?
The link has username and cardnumber at the bottom and I haven't received this email.

    • Just tell them you forgot your card and have them enter OPs number :-P

  • Can you do Opal recharge with this?

    • Same question here as well.

      • Yeah I'm always confused about Opal recharge, whether they counted as gift card or not.
Some mixed response every time this kind of deal came up

        • Try it and let everyone know?

Worst thing that can happen is you lose your money but gain opal credits

          Dont be scared. Do it.

        • for woollies, opal recharge is not counted as gift cards (when ever they have those save 5 bucks after 30 bucks spend, it works)

        • @djones145: Doesn't work anymore apparently. See numerous comments

        • @illumination:
aaahh not sure about the vouchers one
the ones u get from emails, linked to ur EDR cards
have to check if those work still, they worked in July

        • The discount linked to EDR card still works as of last week (mid August), not sure about generic voucher. Anyone can confirm?

    • Do big W do opal recharges now? I thought it was only selected woolies.

    • BIG W doesn't do Opal recharge that I'm aware of, its woolworths

  • What to buy at Big W?

  • +1

    Telstra recharge voucher?

  • May be it is a target offer? I can see on the bottom of the page, it is showed: Username: 93444********, Card number: 93446********…

  • Will this work with Optus recharges? Always good because woollies/big w give you 10% extra credit :-)

  • There's really nothing there worth buying that isn't gaming related. Or gift cards for multiple/smaller future purchases. Or nappies.

    Moving on.

  • Lego?

  • Anyone try this own their own card to determine if it is targeted?

    • +1

I received the email. I can confirm that the bar code is exactly same.

    • +1

I didn't receive an email, but I printed it out and used it in store today, worked fine. The $25 gift card was applied directly to my purchases (bought about $140 of stuff and only had to pay $115).
