  I have questions about his card:

  How do you get a trade member card?

  And are their any stipulations on who can use it (within reason)?

  I am just thinking that my sister has an ABN for her physiotherapy business and that could be handy to save me some money! but she lives interstate so wouldn't be with me in person……..or is this one of those things where they wouldn't check your ID as long as the gender appears to line up (I'm male so i would need a trade card with a male name on it)

    You can get a sole trader ABN quite easily. You can then also get a Bunnings Power Pass for 5% off most items at Bunnings.

        I set one up when I was doing some freelance/consulting work a few years ago.
        It was fairly easy to complete as an "Independant Contractor".

      "You are not entitled to an ABN if you are engaged"

  Pretty much counts out any one who doesn't have an ABN. Means excludes most mums and dads and single people.

  i applied for a trade card a while back with Masters (maybe 14 months?) and no card, no letter, no promotions have been sent my way. Now i'm not a big spender at Masters, but I somehow think this trade card is a gimmick.
