  • your trolley looks full…

unless that is the reduced goods in which case there is probably not the required quantities to make it a deal.

    • +1

It is a deal because there were 4 trolleys and 2 racks full of markdowns when it started

  • +8

    Every store has clearance items..

    • +3

Considering the quantities that were available, this is extraordinary.

  • +1

They are always have lots of short date stuffs since open. May be they are over forecasting.

  • +3

Is this the new woolworths that just opened up opposite costco?

The new woolworths that opened up near my home also had regular clearance items for a few weeks until they figured out more efficient stocking patterns

    • That's the one.92 parramatta rd Lidcombe

  • was there plenty of t-bones left?

    • There were about 10 or so after I was done

  • +2

That's really good T-Bone deal. Despite the arsecovering expiry date, they can keep for much longer.

    • Eating two tonight, and the rest are going into the freezer ;)

We can tell he's a legit ozbarginer because of the Xiaomi power bank in the picture ;)

    • +1

you can only do a positive ID if Eneloops are present. Xiaomi is only a secondary ID system for now.

With all the bargains, Op spent 4 bucks on 5 cookies at the end…

    • +1

Thanks for pointing that out. I called my friends to confirm and it turns out the cookies were actually marked at 30c, but we accidentally scanned a barcode that wasn't covered with a reduced sticker… :(
Got caught up in the excitement i guess…

      • +2

at least u got a fuel voucher

        • OP overpaid $4 - $0.3 = $3.7 on the cookie. With the fuel voucher, OP needs to fill in $3.7 / $0.04 = 92.5 litres of petrol to breakeven… a true oz bargainer would tear of the fuel voucher and go back for a refund with half the docket

    • Those things are so good though.

  • +1

The lamb leg roast is a good deal.

  • +1

    Got the last mud cake

All the tbone was gone :(

  • +2

You paid full price for the cookies :( A true ozbargainer never pays RRP :p

    • Arrowhead next to the price may mean the product was on special

  • I would call this expired, sister just went and not much left, some crumpets and vegetarian stuff. Very few items left at all as of 20 minutes ago.

  • forgot to mention that I paid with my 5% gift cards so only paid 47.5 cents for the mud cake :)
