Looks Like Game's having their 360 controller sale again but this time it's $1 cheaper! :)
It seems the kind folks over at Whirlpool have reported receiving Asian controllers from the last sale. They are still genuine microsoft controllers, but come with Asian packaging. Just a little bit of information I thought you'd like to know.
I got my controller from last week's sale today. It is an Asian Controller, but it is genuine, in full retail bubble packaging.
In a previous GAME $39 controller sale, it was an "English" (ie not specifically a UK model, just English on the packaging) model.
So it definitely wasn't a good fake?

They are not Dealextreme controllers that come "OEM" without packaging.
These are in full retail hard plastic bubble packaging. The cardboard inside has Asian Characters on it instead of English.

Nope. I've bought genuine controllers from HK before and they've always been fine. I compared it to my AU controller and they are 100% identical.
My game one got delivered yesterday, I paid $39 delivered and its genuine. As per the Whirlpool forums mine came with batteries etc.
Bought controllers from Game when they were $25 (reduced from $89 at the time)

Got mine too - delivered in 3 days by courier. White one with batteries. Works well and looks genuine. Got an XBox Live Headset too - $12.
eb have price matched these for me before from a jb hifi deal.
(plus i could choose a black one, as the in-store price was same for white/black)
EB in chatswood westfields were rude and said they dont price match on accessories.
EB are a bunch of looosers.
