I just got a new 128gb IPAD Air 2 with cellular from Dick Smith's duty free store at Sydney airport.

I thought $929 was a good deal, but now I see that the normal DSE stores have dropped their asking price for 128gb Air 2 cellular to $999.

I suspect with the new IPAD Pro coming, Air 2 is going to drop in value further.

Anyway $999 in store at all DSE, or buy online for the same price and get a free SIM card worth $30….

As a price comparison, Officeworks want $1027 (delivered) and Apple want $1119 (delivered and engraved)

  Be careful when using global gig- I thought they were a prepaid service advertising things like 'no lock in contracts' but they don't - they charge you pro rata on your first month (and then charge by month via direct debit until you cancel), and they charge large excess usage fees.
  I personally would get another sim despite 'included value'.

  Also If someone has ME Bank Card, use that to pay for the gift cards at DSE to score another 5% Cashback from ME Bank. But make sure you use Pay-pass and pay separately for each $100 gift card to be eligible for 5% Cash back from Bank.
