$9! they might away give it away for free!

how does this phone compare to a Nokia 3210? need something strong and heavy for a door stopper

    • u mean the 3310?… :P either way we are talking about another league of indestructibleness

    • I used 3210, 3310, 8250…

This phone is 3g enabled, means you can still use it after end of 2016, on telstra network.

      • same thing to optus by April 2017, so suggest you to stock a ZTE F286 sold for $10, at colse, by end of today.

  • Another Stupid Question.. why ppl buy these type of phones ? Only for calls or for another use?

    • My wife has something similar for phone calls only, she has no interest in any other features, makes for great battery life :)

    • disposal phones! ;)

      • Just out of curiosity how does this work?
Don't we have to provide id (like driver's license number) to activate pre-paid phones?

        • +1

Use false info when you sign up online…?

        • +1

Yes. Surely you have fake details handy. What kinda drug dealer are you?

        • +2

Well, as a pharmacist I've never really needed fake details. I even have my suppliers send free samples to encourage me to peddle their wares to my vulnerable and desperate victims - I mean customers.

But I am thinking of branching out. Does one just make up random drivers license numbers? Don't they check if the number corresponds the correct name?

I suppose I could just swipe someone's wallet and steal their whole identity.

        • @chewbot: lol Vodafone was easy to set up with fake details, Telstra was hard to do it with. I don't know how private companies are allowed to get access to peoples personal identification details, whats stopping their staff from stealing peoples id?

  • Any Idea about to unlocking this phone?

  • +1

Not 4g, but if we can root it with kitkat ..should be ok

    • What do you mean?we can turn this into 4g phone by rooting it?

    • will remove carrier lock too lol

  • +1

How can we do it root with kitkat? its hard?

    • +3

You grab a twin or normal pack of kitkat and shove it in and out until the phone is rooted.

  • Is there any link that I can refer?
