Hi Rep.. How quickly can you deliver the sim. Im expecting to travel on 10 Oct 2015.

    • +2

It is a public holiday tomorrow in Victoria so everything will be dispatched Monday 5th. Probably express post would be a good idea for you :)

      • Ordered! Flying to LA on Wednesday so really hope it arrives in Melbourne on Tuesday!

  • I don't see it via your link, only $79 is coming up

    • You have to enter the discount code during check out mate!

  • thanks for bringing back the USA sim deal.

How long will this take to be delivered?

    • +1

      Very welcome :)

I got back from my month long Hawaii & California trip last week and these SIMs were awesome. We had coverage just about everywhere we went except for a few black spots in Yosemite where no one else had coverage either.

I tried my best but couldn't use up all the data with my photo and video backups.

    Highly recommended.

    • How was Yosemite? So very jealous :(

      • +1

It was wonderful except the smoke from the forest fires started to come in on the second day we were there.

        • Oh great, Yosemite is very high on my bucket list :)

    • +2

Same Mechz, I managed 27GB with the T-Mobile SIM from the OP.
      Backed up all my photos.

  • Nice work, need a SIM for Dec / Jan. Will you have any likely deals ??

    • +1

Likely not this card, it is quite hard to get. But we are working on some alternate cards, hoping to lock down some really great products soon.

      • no worries, 13gig is overkill for me anyhow, looking forward to a deal.

  • Welcome back mate! Knew you'd make it :)

    • Thanks heaps :) Glad to still be able to contribute here.

  • any good deal on AT&T?

    • Hey, would strongly recommend you follow us on some socials because we will be making an announcement in the next week or two regarding AT&T ;)

      • any per-announcement here? :) come on….

        • Honestly we are finalising the plans so can't tell you specifics because we don't know yet but can say AT&T sims are on a flight coming our way and will be up on the site soon!

        • @TravelSIMSDirect:

Please make sure you will post the announcement here once the plan is finalised!! :)

  • This is awesome. my biggest problem I'm in the US is getting my mobile sorted and diving straight into work. I normallly waste a day tracking down ban AT&T store. Will definitely use your service next time around :)

  • Do these have an expiry date on them?

    • Must be activated by 31/10/15.

  • +1

Awesome.. been looking for another deal for USA. Going in November.
    Thanks and good luck :)

  • Just ordered for USA thank you…. excellent timing…….

Do you have any deals very soon for the United Kingdom?

    • Yes we will! Will announce something very special on our socials later this week regarding the UK :)

  • Awesome, got one! You guys rock :)

    • +1

      No mate, you rock!

  • Hi,

I am leaving for Hawaii in early December, I have read the T&C's and while I understand I need to activate now it does say it starts when you get the the USA? So could I buy one now (at the lower prices) and then it will start when I get there?

    • +1

Usually yes but this deal is for a batch of cards that have to be activated by 31/10/2015 i.e. the 30 days has to start by the end of this month. Sorry!

  • Do you have any for 1 week with lower GB (1-2)?

    • Not at the moment mate, sorry!

  • Does this SIM card allow tethering to other devices?

  • Can't find your fb page

  • Great news welcome back. Purchased and used your Thai sim last month. Excellent.

    • Glad to hear it worked :) Thanks!

  • +1

Love your work. Any deals for Japan please?

    • Nothing major at the moment but PM me :)

      • I'd be interested in a deal on Japan SIM cards as well. I assume there'd be a lot of people here who've also taken advantage of the Jetstar sales.

        • Me three!

  • Do i have to activate this card in usa? Can i activate it before i go?

    • We activate it for you based on the date you provide!

  • I'm going in March, I guess I'll have to wait for another deal closer to the date?

  • bought one. but just realized i will be back on the 3rd Dec. can i still use this card for receiving call if not recharge

    • Hey, when do you arrive into the States?

      • i will be leaving on the 22nd Nov.

        • Ah ok well if you activated on the 31st of October credit will end 29/30 November US time and you will be able to receive, just not reply for the remainder of your trip!

        • @TravelSIMSDirect: thanks. How much for the recharge just in case

        • @Bargainer: Recharges are through T-Mobile and full RRP unfortunately.

  • Would this work in Canada during time period of Feb, 2016?

    • No, sorry.

  • Would this work for a trip from mid-late November? Can they be activated from Aus?

    • I hope so, because I just bought one :-)

      • Hey muncan, how long are you staying over there?

        • In USA between 12-27 Nov

        • @muncan: Buy one and put the activation as 04/11/15. I will know what to do and make sure it stays active for your entire trip :)

        • @TravelSIMSDirect: What if I already put 12 Nov as my start date? Should I buy another and ask my existing order to be cancelled?

  • +1

Couldn't have come at a more perfect time! I leave next week back to the USA! Great deal, they don't even offer this many GBs in the USA for their pre-paid plans. Highest they go is 7Gb for $80 USD. With the conversion rate, this is HUGE!

    • Glad we could help :)

  • Why was my order refunded?

    • Likely because your activation date was well after the 31/10/15 limit for activations. Sorry! Stay in touch and closer to your departure we will take care of you :)

  • Will this work in Brazil? I'm heading there on 28th October for 3 weeks

    • No it won't, sorry.

  • Hi Rep,

Do you have any that do both USA and Canada? I am travelling in Dec/Jan and will be half and half, the T-mobile Simple Connect plan looks good, but I can't figure out if I can activate the cards your offering on that or not…

    • Hey mate, the best thing I reckon would be to follow us on Facebook or any socials. We will be announcing something regarding AT&T (best coverage and works in Canada and Mexico) in the next week or so!

  • +1

used you guys before and it worked great, looking forward to getting a usa travel sim for March/April.

  • +1

Love this deal! Just bought two for our Oct/Nov trip

  • Hi Rep, my order is #3172. Can you please ship it to the billing address as soon as you can on Monday? I leave Wednesday. I selected express post as my shipping method. Thanks!

    • Packaged already and will be in Aus Post carriers hands Monday morning :) Damn this public holiday here haha.

  • Hi. Just placed an order on the website invoice ID WC-3186. Error msg came up but funds processed via PayPal. I need it posted by express post on Monday. Leaving Thursday morning. Pls pm me. Thanks!

    • Hey mate, apparently you're in the penalty box and I can't PM you :(

  • +1

Food for thought: you can buy a T-Mobile data sim when you arrive in the US, for $US10-20.
If you don't need the calls it's a much cheaper option.
NB. They aren't available at LAX, research a store close to your first night of accommodation instead.

    • Very interesting, haven't heard of that before. Can I ask where you got your one? Everyone loves data cards :)

  • Welcome back mate! Glad you guys are still going strong.

Unfortunately I leave for the US on 6th October from Sydney, so I don't think I'll get these on time?….. What's the best pre-paid sim card for me to get when I land in San Fran? I'm there for approximately 3 weeks and need a max of 1.5-2gb.

    • Thanks mate, you're so close to the date that I can sneak you in :)

      • are you sure? I leave for the airport around 9am on sydney, unless the postie does an airport run, I'm doubting it! haha

  • +1

i bought two of these sims on my recent four-week trip to NYC and they were great. used tethering with no issues, reception was great and the sim activation process was simple and quick. 10/10 would buy again.

  • Just putting forward another positive experience with the OP:

Bought two 3gb t-mobile SIMS a few months ago, and have just returned from our US trip. The SIMS were activated and ready to go on arrival and we were able to use them to help us figure out airport shuttles/trains etc right away. It saved us because it was the middle of the night and there was nobody around to ask.

Coverage was excellent in cities. I was expecting no coverage at all when driving long distance on the interstates, but whilst the data connection often got quite slow, it was rarely fully disconnected.

    A++, would buy again.

    • Glad to hear it helped you out so much :)

  • Are these sims compatible with all phones? I've got a Sony Zperia Z2 (I'm with Virgin) and want to make sure there's no issues before purchasing.. Thanks

    • It is compatible with your phone but please make sure your handset is unlocked and not locked to Virgin though.

  • Hi Rep,
I still have a T-mobile sim activated from my last trip. Can i just purchase the 13GB of Data for $59?
    Thanks

    • Hi mate, this only works for new activations and cards so if you wanted it you would have to use a new sim with new number that we dispatch for you.

  • Thank you - when you recharge, can you choose a different type of plan to recharge to eg a cheaper one if you're finding you're not calling overseas or using much data?

    • You can but you would have to manually change it online or contact T-Mobile or visit one of their stores ect

      • Thanks for the quick responses to my questions. Have just ordered.

  • Hi Rep,

Can these sims still be purchased for travel after October 31st if paying full price?

    • At this moment no but in the next week or so we should be making an announcement on Facebook for what's going to be available long term.

  • Thanks so much OP! Just picked mine up…leaving for the East Coast in three weeks! I've been hanging out for a deal and was starting to lose hope šŸ˜„

    • Never lose hope :)

  • +1

Haha sounds like we're all the OzBargainers that jumped on the $800 return from NYC deal in July ;)

  • +1

Purchased this on March and used in Hawaii…. Worth every penny.

  • I'm currently in LA using t-mobile with galaxy s6 and iPhone 6 plus. The reception is our Vodafone level or even worse. In concrete buildings, carpark, department stores etc don't expect any reception. We've been to disneyland, legoland, san diego, las vegas and LA and hardly seen 2 bars of reception. Does it do the job? yes, good value for money? yes. Telstra convenience? No.
