    Coles 14/10: Oral B Elec Brush $22

    Is this the same one that is currently $5 at Caltex (normally $15)? or is it a different one?

    • +2

      A minute of research & you would know the answer jv.

      • +13

        If JV spent a minute researching he wouldn't have time to post…

        • Shh! I'm trying to slow jv ;-)

        • @Infidel: In case anyone was wondering, if JV is referring to this post,
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/214517

          It looks like a regular toothbrush, not electric. Also, the different RRP should have been a give away that it wasn't the same.

        A minute of research & you would know the answer jv.

        It's not in the catalogue or the link provided.

        • Oral B Vitality Power Brush $22 (as stated above & back page of catalog - "precision clean") vs
          Oral B CrossAction Power Toothbrush Only $5 at Caltex
          Took a minute to find that & read some reviews.

          @Infidel:

          Power Toothbrush Only $5 at Caltex

          Power Toothbrush is what TA had in the title when I commented, and this was later changed…

          @jv:
          Got to read the deal description jv! That's where the details are.

          Pretty lazy asking others to read for you. As I said… a minute of research.

          Original Deal descriptions before your comment included: Oral B Vitality Power Brush $22.00
          I checked revisions before I made my original comment jv.

          Change in title was from "Oral B Power Brush $22" to "Oral B Elec Brush $22", but only after both our comments!

          Deal description is the place to discover the details, not the title when so many items are listed. And there are more details in the catalogue, but you found none?

          Caltex deal stated a different model of power brush - again if you read the deal description.

          A minute of research would have shown they are different models.

          Can't blame it on changes to deal, jv. Reading is an underrated skill.

          @Infidel:

          Got to read the deal description jv!

          My comment was based on what was highlighted in the title…
          No price comparisons in the description, so it's not worth reading.

          @jv:
          Ah, so you make comments without reading the deals. Now I understand… Just uninformed opinions. Won't bother reading them then.

          @Infidel:

          Seems as if toothbrushes are going down the same path as razors. It can't be long now before we are offered the "Mouth Pulveriser" vs the "TurboFresh 2020"

      And beer.

    In 1 year, Pepsi 24/30 can packs have gone from $9 on special to now $14. I highly doubt manufacturing costs have changed in that time…just another one of MANY examples of Coles being greedy.

    • Special prices (especially soft drink cans) can vary quite a lot. A 24 pack of Pepsi might get down to $10 again.

  • +1

    I am waiting for those amaysim stackable coupons from Coles…still waiting…lol

  • Still waiting for 20% off vodafone recharges again…

    • -1

      Woolies has 20% off a $40 recharge when you purchase a $2 Voda SIM starting Wednesday if that helps?

      • I thought that was already a running promo?.

        • -1

          Sorry, no idea. But it's in the new catalogue.

          Are you perhaps referring to this…

        • @tightarse:
          Nah. think Woolies has the promo running already which you mentioned here (could be wrong…..thought i saw it other day).

          thanks for the efforts though :D

  • Thanks TA! bic stationary 1/2 price is a really good deal, haven't seen any stationary deals in a while.

    • +1

      And now there's chrome 4-colour pens!

  • -2

    Good time to buy deodorant. My hygiene has gone down the drain since my family left me.

  • +4

    TA must be excited about half price Vaseline !!!

    • -2

      It only becomes exciting when half price baby oil is also on special…

    • If true, we will soon see TA become simply A.

  • Covergirl foundations for $12.95, that's only slightly more expensive than Priceline's biannual makeup sale price of $12.60. Might get this since I hear that the Priceline sale won't happen till late November. Thanks!
