I have so much trouble with gmail clients because of their stupid tagging system. I'll give this a go but my hope are not high..

please report back. i dont have a mac so cant test it

  • Thankkkks, Though no clue where to enter my code!

    • You can either enter your license in the Mia for Gmail's registration window, or click on the link provided after you complete checkout to automatically activate your version:

      • Wheres the registration window :P, I have an accounts windows which allows me to purchase the upgrade (NTY) but no where to insert it. Ill have another look.

Where is the registration window? Under preference only three options 1) Accounts 2) Help and 3) About

Tried to click the link but did not activate :(

        • i only have windows pc so cant comment.

Hopefully someone who has a mac can comment

  • Yeah no idea where to input this registration code, and the link they tell you to click does nothing haha. Doesn't look like there's an option for filtering tags, or displaying certain email categories (primary etc). Wasn't expecting it to have such option since Gmail.

  • thanks OP

  • This is the only thing you get in preferences.

    • After clicking the link I had a shopping trolley icon under the Gmail accounts windows on the right hand side.
I have NFI if its registered though, haha.

A desktop email client for your Mac, without a browser !

Holy **** what will they think of next? Apple is first with EVERYTHING!!

    • +1

It wasn't apple. It was a developer named Stéphane QUERAUD

  • doesn it "download" all those emails from gmail "server" and keep them on my mac?

  • The app is pretty basic.. you can only see your most recent 10 emails, if you want to see more it links you to gmail in your default browser lol

    • Yeah, it's actually not that great. What's the point of having a standalone mail program that relies on your browser to read and compose emails? I feel sorry for anyone that actually paid for this.

  • Mia for gmail. hmmmm Is it only for gmail?

  • I've been using Sparrow app for my gmail; this app is no longer supported but works best with gmail (and other emails). Tell me, why should I move to Mia, considering it is only working for Gmail?

  • Also, got the serial number, but does not seems to work….strange

  • Myself, I haven't yet setup outlook for gmail so stumbling upon this is welcomed. Saves me the hassle and I get my gmail account in a simple quick way. That's all I really wanted considering gmail isn't my daily email addy. Cheers easternculture…

two step process wasn't bad (someone got my bogus details though lol)

I have upgraded to El Capitan OS, the Mac Mail works a lot better with gmail. Why bother getting a 3rd party app?

    • This is my question as well. El Capitan supports Gmail out of the box… and the Mail client whilst not perfect is definitely well supported by Apple.

      • you would be surprised how many people are still on older versions.

  • How to get this if you are not on a mac?

    • It's for Mac only…

    • Hakintosh … but its a painful process for some hardware

      • OK, thanks. No worries, too much effort ;-)

        • you could also use VMware or similar virtual machine
