Weekend sale on older consoles that stores are still sitting on. Available in store only. Stock varies by store call your local store to find out if they have stock.

Deals include

PS3 from $158.40
360 from $142.40
Xbox One from $398.40

Please note when you call up the prices will not show in the system. But as long as the store has stock it will work. This is nationwide and is done at the sub total screen. A lot of staff clearly are not aware. So it gives a lot of customers a chance to get these deals.

          I Spoke to EB Games yesterday and they said that they'd price match the console on the day of the release….

          Why wouldn't you buy it from the retailer offering the lower price, if eb offered a price beat I would understand but marching? No idea, please explain?

          @shadowrukia: I asked for a price match at Parramatta Westfield store. Confirmed again yesterday when I went to buy the master chief edition controller, which I got them to price match against the target catalog as well.

          EB generally don't price match Consoles. But each store has their own rules, some are great and some are not.

          As for Big W's price, I would believe the OP. Target are also really cheap so if you aren't trading in, no reason to pay full price at EB.

          My local is really nice and I do respect them but this is Ozbargain not Ozfullretail

    It's live in WA. All consoles mentioned in this post as advertised.

    Edit: Scanned a bunch of other older stuff like Wii U Basic console, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby 2DS consoles etc and all at original price. Seems to be only what the OP listed.

    They had the AC unity bundle at plaza, Management at Tea tree plaza refused to acknowledge it and refused to hold one, went in there anyway got a nice kid who had no idea about it, scanned it in came up full price was prepared to hold it though.

    Asked a manager about the weekend sale who pretended not to know anything, so I mentioned the last sale how TTP had a whole bunch of 2ds's staff all said the same at closing time the night before, then I was first person in the next morning and they were all gone.

    He then just out of nowhere went ok i'll do you the price, scanned it in and it came up at $328….. don't get excited did not get it for this price, he apparantly put in the wrong code, put in another code and I got it for the price.

    I don't know if anything else they had there was going to be at the altered price but if anyone wants the receipt I can help you out :)

    So for all the staff that don't know how the new system works it takes 20% off at the sub total screen. Yes all items scan at regular prices and they don't appear in the system. (ISP). But when you go to pay 20% off will be applied. No code required.

        try plaza I grabbed the assassins bundle there last night. Staff there know nothing about it except the managers who knew all about it and played innocent.

      Did you ask the staff member to hit subtotal, as detailed in the OP? If they simply did a price enquiry or scanned it and didn't hit subtotal, the discount would not be applied.

    I visited the Melton store to ask about a Wii U but the lady had no idea what i was talking about and claims there wasnt any sale on any consoles… (i already have a ps4 and xb1)
