I'm a big Jetstar fan, flew with them about 15" times the odd long delay but nothing any other airline does not have.

Plus you then factor in the cost and it's 100% worth it!

Bad service, nickel and diming. Many cancelled flights. Ghastly company.

        • +4

          That's why it's so cheap.

    • @hamwhisperer

      Useless comment.

    • Flown with them 10+ times, never anything worse than slight delays.

People like you fly on budget airlines expecting premium airline business class service. Jetstar is perfectly fine if your expectations are realistic.

Bad service is bad BAD service, nope nope and more nope.
Once they've finished nickel and diming you, it's barely any cheaper than the premium ones. It's genius.

        • Enlighten us with your experience.

        • Qantas often code share with Jetstar (same company.) Are you going to criticise Qantas, too?

Check the links for travel dates, as they change depending on the route.

They change a lot depending on the route, and also have gaps. It is easiest to click the links & then view the price charts.

When no one want that Flight, it ends up in 'I Want That Flight'.

    • Good one! But that's why they are cheap and we like cheap!

It may just be me, but I find adioso.com.au much easier to use. I just select the origin and destination, say "anytime", "cheapest flight" and violais! I have a list of costed flights with each origin departure date on a bar graph.

I'm not affiliated with Adioso in any way, I just like simple as possible. I spent a minute on this website and went to Adioso instead ;)

Most of the budget fares for my route seem to be in March 2016

    • Hi mate. How did you find this out without going through every single day? The site is so confusing. I want to fly with the wife and kids from Sydney to Melbourne (Tulla) and then back sometime in mid-late March 2016, but am struggling to find even one day with the above listed prices…

      • Hi Ensanguined,

When you click on the link for your route, can you see the price charts? They show quickly which are the cheapest days to fly.

You can also click on the 'Filter' to change the dates for your flights. Eg, this shows all flights Melb-Sydney in March:
