      Upscaling No

      • -2

        Not worth it then. Thanks.

        • +3

Most TVs upscale HDMI inputs. No need for the source device to do the upscaling.

I think the DS Overview summed it up Entry level Blu-ray

DS specs are often incorrect. I've got a free tablet due to incorrect specs on DS.

          $129 + $13 deliv on eBay - this is a bargain ;-)

        • +3

And a far few of those are incorrect.
If you want what it will really do, read the manual http://www.topfield.com.au/uploads/65745/ufiles/TF-G9600.pdf

        • Including "BluRay Player No"

      Who watches DVDs anyway?

      • This is a BluRay player

      • -1

        I know :)
I was replying to sween64 who asked if it "upscaled DVDs to 1080p" (first comment on this post)

        • I only own DVDs. Anything newer than that I have a soft copy.

  • +2

I think thats about the going rate for a basic BD player these days, without netflix, etc.
The market is saturated, and optical discs are kind of obsolete.

  • +3

    Br is so 2005.

    • Not yet available then.

  • wow topfield is going budget now

    • Possibly rebranded?

  • You rarely see optical out anymore. + from me for that alone.

  • Is it region free? If yes, i might get one

    • Quite possibly the DVD side of things will be region free.

      Definitely not the blu-ray.

      • Thank you
