Yeah, obviously they too greedy or don't care, with this ebay deals on they can get massive sales through and still make tidy profit if they lowered the price to be more competitive.
It would be worth it getting from an Australian dealer if they don't put malware and advertising on like some of the Chinese resellers (I got mine from a JD one). Also I paid $230AUD to get the Note 2 (not Prime) after conversion and getting it shipped a bit faster, so for $55 more and then the $100 voucher it's looks like a good deal.
Download miui eu rom and flash it if you're worried about malware from the Chinese stock rom. Takes 5 -10 minutes.

Um, I had a similar experience with a Banggood tablet. DOA. It was returned to China via TNT courier at Banggood's cost and I had a replacement within 3 days. Therefore your service could be improved.
