price beat by officeworks brings it down to $72.20

RRP is $89 at most stores now, it was RRP $129 months or even a year ago, definitely not $129. Purchased for $77 at Officeworks few weeks back on eBay, no sale or discount advertised, but now I can see it's $88 on their website, so maybe the RRP was $88 but they dropped it to $77 to reduce stock. This post isn't intended to bash the thread, just stating that $78 isn't as much of a steal, it's even $76 at Dick Smith storewide now, and will continue to drop now that you can get the upgraded models for not too much more.
I wonder what is the true margin for the retailers.
Flex Full price $129.95 but reduce to $78;
HR Full price is $199.95 but you could buy at $120~130 with discount at sometimes.
Surge I think the cheapest I seen is around $230ish but RRP says $349.95 !If the RRP changed then so did the cost price. Electronic markups can be high - depends on the type of good (speaking from experience!).
How did you get the chromecast for 38?
Dicksmith is $76 and don't need to go to Richmond Store..
