P&O Pacific Pearl

Port Vila
Vanuatu’s shining star, Vila, is the adventure capital of the Pacific. With its strong Melanesian culture and mix of traditional and modern attractions, Vila offers the best of everything from diving to bustling markets filled with local crafts. Have you ever been abseiling? What about down a 50-metre waterfall? Here, adventure-seekers get the once in a lifetime chance to do both, deep within the rainforest at Cascade Waterfall. If something a little tamer tickles your fancy, try a kayak paddle around Mele Bay. You won’t be disappointed.
Lifou
Fancy a bath in the ocean? If you don’t mind a little company, Lifou may be for you. The largest coral atoll in this group of islands, its bath-temperature turquoise waters are bursting with marine life. Above water, its diverse landscape of majestic cliffs, tropical forests and white sand beaches are not to miss. Or venture in to meet a Kanak chieftain, whose tribe has inhabited this island idyll for thousands of years. You’ll quickly understand why they never left.
Isle of Pines
If you can tear yourself away from the picture-perfect waters of Isle of Pines long enough, head inland and take in the lush forests, grottos and landmarks on an Island Discovery Shore Tour. Before you leave, drop by Kuto Beach markets for local art and sarongs. You may want to pick up a memento, or a gift for a friend at home who is probably wishing they were you right now.

Great prices but personally will never cruise again with P&O

      • The food was disgusting & mostly cold. Dined in one of the specialty restaurants twice during the 10 night cruise & both times ended up on the toilet for 5+ hours.
They decided to refit the pools during our 10 night cruise, so no adult/childrens pool even though the next cruise it was doing was 3 nights.
The entertainment was great, can't complain about that.
Had a "SeaView" cabin, but couldn't see out the window as it was so covered in salt it was like looking through a toilet window. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years.
Smoking seemed to allowed everywhere & no one was stopping people smoking in the non-smoking areas even though it was reported several times.
Our cabin steward couldn't speak English!
Baggage handlers damaged my bag & P&O refused to reimburse me for the damage & kept blaming other companies even though the handlers were hired by P&O.
It's nice to have a drinks service where the person will go & get you a drink, but not being a big drinker, I was harassed every 5 minutes offering a drink, got to the point where I had to be rude! Still didn't stop them.
The communications system went out during the cruise so they had to use the PA system to communicate which also came in to our cabins at ungodly hours.
Being that we visited many beaches during the 10 nights you'd think they'd at least vacuum once somewhere in the middle of the cruise but the floors just built up with sand day after day.
I could really go on for a lot longer but won't. Just take it that this is a great price & hope you enjoy your cruise.

        • @Cheap Charlie: nope but again, for this price you can't go too far wrong unless you get sea sick :)

    • Amen to that

P&O would be a fully self contained caravan park if they only had an official brothel and tattoo parlour.

      The food was disgusting.

We had to eat every meal at a specialty restaurant. We had a suite and the cabin steward was crap.

Hmm official brothel. Tell me more.

Bearing in mind that everyone has different standards in food, what is meant by disgusting?
I'm quite content with a Sizzler style buffet, dominos pizza, home brand everything, but others expect more.

have a look at that boat looks like its from the 80's, I agree with summutha P&O are a joke they give the AU market the crappy 20-30 year old boats from asia do a surface reno then use them here for another 10-15 years

Royal Caribbean on sale - you can't go wrong.

  • Hmm

First of all this is 9 nights not 10.

Second of all it's cheaper with ozcruising. Add the $100 Amex cash back deal and it's a lot cheaper

    Thanks op

  • Hey man good adjustment but it's even cheaper!

    So twin share is 2 X $565 = $1130 - Amex $100 rebate = $1030.

    So it's $515/person twin share.

Edit only if you buy via ozcruising not cruiseabout

$565 is the normal price on ozcruising without amex

        • @Cheap Charlie:

          Haha yeh know the feeling.

Maybe change the $675 to $565 and the URL o ozcruising? More of a deal then for non-Amex users.

  • Damn price hiked now. Guess the deal is off :(

  • NEW DEAL JUST POSTED BY ME!

    What a bargain… totally stoked.
