Also, I already got Internet Security 2016. It didn't add Total Security 2016 into my account for some reason

    • same here. I tried uninstalling Internet Security and installed Total Security using the link given in email but it still installed Internet Security. Anyone know how to install Total Security?

Too bad they don't stack. If they did, I might have 26 years worth of BD.

I got it during last deal my windows 10 completely slow down and sometime won't even boot properly, uninstalled.

Far too mamy false positives. It proceeded to remove my steam folder and there was nothing in quarantine when it was done. Scanned the DVD drive causing it to stop working completely and a difficult GUI to stop it from doing this crap.

      • Yeah I even disabled the boot check still no good, so installed free version.

      • 2015 is working great for me - on XP.

Wish I could say the same for Firefox - and I don't even dare to open Chrome anymore. (Computer grinds to a halt.)

    • Bitdefender has also been blue screening my PC a lot too… I now use avast and there's no more BSOD that i've encountered.

Registering this time does not give me a key to add to my existing account. I checked my last email from them and I got one back then. Maybe this is their way of getting people to not stack them?

    • Yes, no key in the email they send.

  • Is it single device or multi-device?

ended up uninstalling it because of it interfering with a number of games and programs, the one time ive gotten infected, this program didnt do squat to prevent it or remove it, had to use malwarebytes so i dont even bother with this anymore

I installed it with no problems but my flatmate tried to install it on a his laptop and it said maximum number of devices exceeded. We share the same internet account. Does does BitDefender check my ip address

  • I can't get it to install, keeps saying I have to uninstall McAfee - but I can't find any McAfee!!!!

  • Has anyone actually been able to use this? After executing with the generated code I get a message "please try again later", then when I try later the message is "incorrect verification code" - I assume because the code can only be executed once.

I've now tried this with two different email addresses to no avail.

  • I installed Panda Internet Security 6 months trial on the same website. No problems with the installation which can't be said about the Bitdefender (tried a couple of times- no result).

  • I didn't get a code, but its in my bitdefender account. I download it from their control centre (saying there is a 6m subscription) but once installed its a 30 day count down.

    Any ideas?
