  • Is this heavier than 9kg of LPG?

    • Huh?
      Less, since you've sniffed it.

    • No, it is 0.5kg lighter. You only get 8.5kg.
Which, BTW is 17 litres. LPG is almost exactly half the density of water.

So this is almost as cheap as using a bowser adapter.

'Not the cheapest' as stated by the OP.

cheapest isn't always the most convenient

      • Agreed.. but aren't the rules the rules?

        • +1

Since a mod hasn't cleared I don't think it is a hard and fast rule. Besides I can't find any active bargains that are better.

Fuel is cheap in Perth today, but I'm not going to drive 4000 kms to say a few bucks.

          Besides Dasher offers no evidence.

I don't know anywhere in Brisbane cheaper at the moment. The $15 special on Saturday https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/217443 was inundated suggesting that this Ray's deal is a bargain (in Brisbane at least).

  • Where's the cheapest refills then? And how much does Rays charge normally?

    • Cost me $21.99 at Ray's in Brisbane last time I had a gas bottle filled.

      One place in Victoria
Deal needs some more love! $15.99 is normal price, and even veterans here wouldn't upvote.

  • Cheapest by far where I live, thanks OP!

Will Bunnings price match like before?

    • Worth a shot, I got them to match the Masters deal once before there were even any Master stores anywhere nearby, just from showing them on my phone.

  • Thanks OP.

  • Rays has $20 off $100 via Amex at the moment as well.

    • If only I had 7 gas bottles.

      • +1

If only I had one empty 9kg bottle

  • If you're a Rays Rewards member you probably have $10 credit in your account :)

  • What is the swap and go price?
