Chombo have dropped there prices on hosting plans:
$3.95= 1GB space 50GB transfer
$6.95= 2GB space 75GB transfer
$9.95= 3GB space 100GB transfer
All plans include 8.30- 5.30pm phone support.
This is cheap as for Australian Hosting!!
Also they have .com.au domains for $20.95 for 2 years (cheapest you will find)
They seem reliable to me. They have a good reputation on Whirlpool and other forums. I would sign up if I could be bothered moving from my current host.
Hey… Richard from Neural here, just want to clarify that Curtis has not had a relationship with Neural since he left the company in mid 2007 and has not had an @neural.com.au email address since that time either.
Sure np, was trying to figure out where they're from (still don't know either). Always skeptical of any discount hosting, quality & piece of mind can be worth the extra dollars… though it's great when it all comes at a good price :)

To my mind that condition makes the generous transfer bandwidth provided rather restricted
I have been with Chombo for over 12 months, i find them amazing, reliable and have very fast technical response.
Their company info shows they're registered in South Australia. Lookup of the parent company "Sonet pty ltd" shows they're in QLD, updated their details there as of just June last year, so I doubt they've moved. The registration for Sonet's domain (and also Chombo) is "Curtis Bayne" who registered it at an @neural.com.au email - also in QLD. Apparently he's just a rep of Chombo according to his Whirlpool page, given he registered all the domains you'd have to assume he's the owner, as it's not a big company according to Neural's about page. Looked up Chombos twitter page, "Brisbane-based Australian web host".
Contact page says they have an office in Melbourne at 101 Collins St, yet the buildings website which lists tenants show none of those names.
So they're registered (and have their current address listed at) South Australia, yet they apparently are in an office building in the middle of Melbourne, but are apparently also in Brisbane…
Doesn't sound like a good offer IMO, they can't even be transparent about their location.
