  • Nice phone. Bought one for gf and the camera is quite good.

    • im considering this too, is the UI laggy?
most android phones start to lag after few months.

      • No lag for me on streaming or gaming. UI is sleek and you can replace it with NOVA launch if you dont like EMUI from Huawei.

  • Any dual sim phone would be useless in one of the sim in approximately 12 months time when telcos shut down 2G network. Telstra has confirmed a shut down in December 2016.

Need to wait for manufacturers to build a dual sim phone that will take 4G in one slot and at least 3G in the other.

    • -1

most of these dual sim, the extra sim slot is also the memory card slot.

  • What a gorgeous looking phone. Huawei get a lot of crap for copying, but you can't argue with how pretty this looks.

    • I don't generally see anyone talking about copying anyone these days. (Epic Fanboys excluded, but no one really listens or cares about them)

I couldn't care if some company is inspired by another, or flat out copies it. As long as it works.

      • Oh man if you visited PhoneArena, that'd all change. Under every new phone announced; 'This looks exactly like x' 'They flat out copied y' 'Lol z will sue them for this blatant ripoff'.

Neither do I. There are certain exceptions, where a company goes out of there way to mimic another phone and makes sacrifices to do so, but if it looks super similar, I could care less.

    • doesnt everyone copy each other?
      just like cars ;)

  • good price for a nice looking phone with decent specs. But the 16gb on board memory is a killer for me. Unless Marshmallow upgrade is done before end of this year, 16gb storage is too paltry for a new release phone. os takes up about 1/2 and only leaves 8-9 gb for apps, pics, vids, music, cache etc = hell trying to manage space on the phone all the time.

    • Put you're pics and vids on the sd card

      • i do that already with my existing handset (htc m8 16gb). os takes up ~7gb so useable space is only ~9gb, after installing all my apps, I only have about 4-5gb of space left on my phone. with apps like FB & instagram caching over 1gb each, my useable space is down to maybe ~3gb. and that fills up fast when taking photos and videos regularly! so I usually have to clear space on my phone to my sd about once every week or apps crash when there is no more space to cache. lol….

        • So it would be the same as Samsung GS6 Or iPhone 16GB? I Don't know too much when It comes to phones :)

        • +1

Configure camera to save photos and video to your sd card directly.

        • @reu: done that! but app cache, attachments, music and other data fills up my paltry 16gb phone storage just as quickly as my camera images. I've learnt to live with the constant clearing of data from my phone. However, my next phone will definitely have 32GB on board storage as a minimum

        • @TRENT86: actually, those 2 phones you mentioned are actually a bit worse off if you own the 16GB versions. As neither of them have any sd card slots built into the phone (to add additional storage), you are pretty much stuck with the 16Gb of storage (minus os, apps etc). or use cloud storage and eat up your monthly data allowance

        • @genes888: Thanks for info :) Is there no free cloud storage for phones?

  • 16 gb is biggest turn off. I am fan of Huawei. Their build quality and value for money is amongst the best.

  • dont these have a warranty that if you break the screen within 12 months they replace for free, even dropping?

    • Yes I think so. It's on Huawei website.
