Soniq E32V15B-AU 32" HD LED-LCD TV @ $199 - JB Hi-Fi

40

at less than $200, Soniq is one of the more affordable & acceptable quality TV from brick & mortal shop!
(if you have problem with it, at least you could bring it to the JB H-Fi store, than sending/shipping it back)
the only down turn for me is 1366 x 736 resolution, not Full HD, but at $199, it's a very CHEAP TV!

previously we had similar Soniq TV for $199, but consider our dollar were MUCH stronger at that time,
by today standard, I would say this is still a very good deal! unless something coming up before Christmas!?

any suggestion at $199? I think at this price, it is good enough as a Granny/Kid's TV or kitchen Free to Air TV… :)

Yeah I am after a TV for the kids room too…at least at this price, if it fell off the wall on to their head, it wouldn't be a huge loss :)

"phew it was the $199 SONIQ that crushed my kid. Thank goodness it wasn't the $2,000 4K TV in the lounge room, would've been in big trouble there!" =P

          Right on ;)

    • @32" Resolution is not the big must have that you seem to imply.

this doesn't seem too bad. my folks are still rocking an old CRT widescreen that seems to have bell's palsy (one side droops down). this could be the perfect christmas gift

Any decent 40" LED TV deals? Prefer Full HD as 32" never had full HD for some reasons.

    • I also have a 32" Soniq Full HD that was bought few years ago for $299 or $249?

still kicking & happy with how it work! :)

  • Soniq are rubbish - had two faulty tvs in 12 months

    • My 42" Soniq refurb for $159 is still kicking along fine after 13 months =)

Still 5 months warranty left too!

  • Sony-q?

Got one about 3 boxing days ago (when the analog system became redundant) for the same price and same resolution. Great buy for me, has had NO issues at all. can't expect much with 199 but it's decent.

Resolutions-wise, it all depends on where you sit in the room. If your couch is quite close to the tv, then get full hd, but if your couch is quite further away, i'd imagine you won't be able to see the difference (much anyways). The silliest thing is getting a 4k TV. There is no content out there yet. So unless you want to spend a few grand to watch your 4k video from your phone, or upscaling from a bluray player, go ahead.
