    • You can already get it for $5 if you make a new account via the app and pay via Visa Checkout. Surely that's cheap enough?

      • Cotd account or another account?

This offer is open to Australian residents who purchase in person one of the eligible Uniden
Cordless Phones from a participating Australian retail outlet during the promotional period.
Customers who use any on-line purchase facility over the Internet (e.g. Ebay) will not be

Not sure COTD are a participating retail outlet.

      • The uniden phone has poor reviews

I was going to get it, but now second thoughts..

        http://www.productreview.com.au/p/uniden-xdect-81xx-series/m…

        • Also saw that after buying it, -___- i fell for Catch of the day's deal expiration yesterday which happened about over 50 times…

However it was $35 for a "$100" Cordless handset

        • @Tehcookiemonsta:

PM me once you get the phone..to see if this is true..

Based on the reviews, the concensus is the sound quality is shit..

  • Damn it I made 2 orders early hours this morning. :(

    • you can cancel the orders via your account

      • There is no where for me to cancel it, it only says processing.

Can someone please confirm it works on the Finish Quantum deal? I bought some this morning for $58.98. I can't check to see if I can get it cheaper as there's a limit of 1. If I can get it cheaper I'll cancel the order and try again. Thanks.

  • Not sure about specifics of code HERALD29 as i dont have club catch but apparently works on all items in This event

Even though I have CC, there's no info available about this code on their website.

I thought all of these Herald codes originated from the newspaper? In print.

    • +2

I think we need to spend 50$ in order to get free shipping.

Please note: As a Club Catch member, you're eligible for FREE postage when you spend $50.00 or more!

      • Was that intended to be a reply to me or just adding extra info?

I'm aware of my club catch conditions…

        • Nvm, I was meant to ask OP. I didn't manage to get 5$ for blood pressure monitor but 15$ is still OK price.

    • +1

  • thanks EC! can you please explain how the detol comes to $5? I just signed up to club catch trial and it still shows as $14. Thanks!

    • It's charging you shipping (below $50)

      • Thanks ozblogger! was hoping EC found another way around that :(

        • Yeah, spend more money to get over the $50, then you'll get free shipping (with your club catch trial).

        • @nismo: Thanks Nismo, looks like I missed out at 15 now :(

  • Is it worth joining the free trial to get the portable hard drive?

Will I join up and then it say sold out??

… As there is no 'add to cart' button as I look at it now..

    • I think for item marked "Catch Club", you need to join the club to see the "Add to Cart" button :)
it happened to me before I joined

    • You're not able to add club catch items into your cart unless you're signed up for club catch. If you're talking about 2TB Elements HD then it is in stock as far as I can see.

  • Tempting to buy this airwalk for Xmas - any good?

  • Im confused?

    I combined 2 items
    Added code
    Added Postcode

    Got a $10 discount

    • go to payment page and choose VISA CHECKOUT as payment method

    • Did you choose Visa Checkout as the payment method?

      • Ah thanks fellas, will do.
Yep, that did it, user error.

Shame about the freight on $10 worth of chocolates, but oh well.

  • extra $10 off now expired by the looks of it

    • Nope. Just tested it with the 2tb HDD & it's still working

      Discount (Club Catch + HERALD29) - $39.99
      Total $78.54

      • I tried it on the detol again and it comes up as $25! must be doing something wrong…

        • If you've already used the code then perhaps you can't use it again.

I haven't used it yet myself.

        • @nismo: Code can be used multiple times and expires 12am 30/11/15

        • @nismo: looks like it deleted the HERALD29 code! thank you :)

  • The code only applies to the account once?

  • CamelBak 700mL Podium Drink Bottle, buy 3 for about $7.30 delivered (even cheaper with Club catch member)!!!!
    https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/kris-kringle-bargains…

Cheaper than previous Dick smith deal by $5.50 and that was click and collect
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/213898

    • -1

Works out to be $11.97 for 3 delivered

      • $14 x 3 = $42 + $10 delivery = $52 - $30 discount = $22 / 3 = $7.33

        • I see, you are talking per unit. I thought you were talking about the total price.

I'm on an older club catch arrangement that's why it works out to be $11.97 delivered for 3 or $3.99 each.

    • +1

      Club catch + 4 = $6.50 each delivered ($25.96). Not bad :)

    • +1

These are two different bottles, though. This one is the Podium while the other is the Podium Chill.

      • Oh damn. Good point. Can a mod please delete the last part of my comment.

  • Thanks!

  • For uniden phone "Please note: This item can only be shipped to a postal address, NOT a P.O box. Please ensure your address details, complete with contact number, are updated in your account."
Can somebody advise if we can request to deliver to a parcel locker?

    • +1

Yes you can, no issues at all with parcel locker.

      • Thanks mate :)
Also can this offer be used repeatedly? Like if I want to buy this uniden phone on 2 separate transactions?

        • +1

I suggest use two different accounts.

        • @viki8702:

          Thanks :)

        • @amsaini15: I am getting "Purchase item reached" message for the uniden and could not order.

        • I am getting "Purchase item reached" message for the uniden and could not order.

        • @manja:

Yes, as viki8702 said, we have to place order from another account if you want to buy 2.

        • @amsaini15: Thanks.

      • Little bit better for the 8155 + 2 but it's all the same phone http://www.productreview.com.au/p/uniden-xdect-81xx-series/m…

        • it's the same phone just one extra handset

point is those reviews are pretty shit

and only about 2 stars out 5

The consensus of most of the reviews
          is sound quality is shit

was tempting to to get it
          but now second thoughts

        • @tyler.durden: I think the temptation has gone now with a price hike up to $99

  • +1

Just thought I'd put this out there BUT it may be better if you buy $30 worth of items (minus $30 for visa checkout & herald29) and pay only $10 for the delivery rather than buying $50 worth of items for $20 with free delivery (assuming you're a club catch member).

    • On $30+ purchase with deliver $10, you get saving of $10 only. But with $50+ shopping with club catch + herald29, you can get $30 saving. Not sure how the 1st offer is better.

      • +1

If you spend $30 you get $30 off basically only paying for the shipping which is $10. If you spend $50 you get $30 off with free shipping which comes to a total of $20.
If you buy $30 worth of items twice you're essentially paying $20 for $60 worth of items instead of $20 for $50 worth of items.

        • But $30 OFF can only be use ONCE ONLY

if it is reusable then, that's another calcualtion

        • Someone mentioned that you could use the code multiple times until it expired and I was able to use visacheckout twice already BUT I think they've capped the discount to $20 so this wouldn't work anymore.

        • @Fifam: Oh… I see, So Now is $20 Buy $30 or $30 buy $50

    • but if you pay an extra $10 you can get something worth $20 half price :)

  • Stock still available. Just got the 2TB Portable HDD for $78.54.

Had to sign up for the 7 day trial and use the HERALD29 code.

    Thanks original poster.

  • Edit: NVM, unity has answered my question.

    • NVM, unity has answered the question.
