Woolworths (in NSW at least) have recently dropped their 700g free range eggs to $4.59, while Aldi dropped theirs to $4.39.

Noticed this in the catalogue starting 2nd Dec:

Earn $1.00 Woolworths Dollars when you scan Woolworths Rewards Card. Woolworths Dollar offers featured are valid for at least the catalogue period.

Those in WA have cheaper eggs - $4.19!

You'll only be able to redeem your woolworths dollars after you have $10 collected, so you'll need to assess if you shop at woolies frequently enough to make it worthwhile.

Your Woolworths Dollars won't expire, so long as you keep your account active by scanning your Woolworths Rewards card at least once every 18 months

  "For eggs to be labelled free range, the Model Code of Practice says there should be a maximum of 1500 hens per hectare. But many commonly available "free range" brands do not adhere to this, with some brands keeping as many as 10,000 chooks per hectare". According to Choice, Woolworths = 10,000 per hectare.

  While they are $4.19 in WA, pack says min 600g on it, not 700g like above.
