Used LMTCLUB in US. hands down cheapest.

Used it for universal studios and Disney tickets, tours and hotels. Some of the hotel deals I couldn't even find listed elsewhere on other sites anywhere as cheap as this.

    • +3

A word of warning though, had to actually ring them up (US ph#) to be emailed my Disney Tickets. All other vouchers to be presented to tour operators etc came through fine.

      • Similar thing happened to me earlier in the year. Took 5 phone calls (with hold times > 30 minutes) to sort out 'lost' Universal studio tickets. Regret buying with them even with the cheaper price, wasn't worth the hassle…

  • Thanks off to the US in Jan / Feb.

    • Glad to hear that it is useful.

    • Good work

  • THANKS!

  • Thanks OP. But did not get $20 welcome credit.

    • Same here, still… free membership!!!!

    • Signed up and got an emailed code for $20 off* the first booking, but I believe it's already expired. The code they sent me was PCV6515 and said to apply at checkout. Asterisk conditions read "Buy $300 or more hotels and vacation homes services. Offer expires on 30 Nov, 2015."

  • Thanks OP.

I got this last time it was free, it's OK for free but would never pay for it, nothing you can't get online anywhere else.

    • Really? that's weird because I got an economic car including insurance for $140 for a week in LAX. I couldn't find that pricing anywhere, and I looked for months.

      • I'm glad you've had better luck with it than me!

        • Here is a comparison I did quickly (both the same period of time of course):

Top one is directly from the Alamo website, bottom is from lmt club.

          http://i.imgur.com/PtEhas6.png

Cheaper direct, and you didn't have to pay for membership.

        • @Charleston:
Does that include insurance though? The base rate for US rentals doesn't normally cover the insurance since most people who live in the US are able to use there car insurance.

        • @mrjames: Wouldn't have thought either would include insurance though?

Is it possible to add this to an existing account?

I did get the free credit but it states:
Offer expires on 30 Nov, 2015. Don't miss out!

  • Thanks for this! Noob question though, are the prices in US or AUD?

    • It's US site. Price quoted in USD unfortunately.

      • I see. Once converted to AUD, flight price is the same as all the other sites around. Maybe the savings are in the hotels..?

        • It's mainly for the hotel deals. For the tickets, I would think you can use either Google Matrix or Skyscanner.

  • Thanks. Will sign up as off to US in Jan but already got everything booked :(

    • yeah im going in feb and march so im going to see what i can get for cheaper if possible and then cancel and rebook via this place lol

Hotels can be hit or miss but for the US, there can be a huge difference. Just searched on a couple for Jan 8/9 (as a test):

    Doubletree Metro NYC
Hotelscombined - $141 USD via Hotelclub
    LMTClub - $102.60

    Palazzo Las Vegas
    Hotelscombined $739 USD via Expedia
    LMTClub - $580.89 USD

Of course, there are always coupon codes/cashback etc that you can use for Hotels.com/Hotelclub so always compare.

As someone said before, attraction tickets are their sweet spot.

    For LA (April 20115 prices):

    Official Site LMT Undercover Tourist
    Universal Studios LA
    General Admission $90 $78.92 $86.95
    VIP $299 $272.51 $318.95
    Go LA Card
    1 Day $70 $60.03 $64.95
    Go LA 2 Days $115.99 $99.49 $102.95
    3 Day $179.99 $171.55 $179.95
    • A few people mentioned lost/having to chase up their theme park tickets though, is that a common thing..? :/

  • thanks

are all the prices on the website in US dollars or Australian dollars?

    • +1

      US Dollars.

someone asked that question above - you need to read before re-asking again

  • Looks like my account from 2013 still works! wondering if I should sign up again under a different email? is this a standard account?

    • I'm in same boat - is there a way of applying code to existing accounts or is this only for new accounts.

Otherwise different email address works fine

  • At last page, when I click "Start Saving", I got "We were unable to process you request".
    Anyone has same experience?

  • "We were unable to process you request".

  • From sign up e-mail: Take $20 off* your first booking

    • Buy $300 or more hotels and vacation homes services.
Offer expires on 30 Nov, 2015. Don't miss out!
  • Had a quick look at flights from Bne to Lax Qantas came up as $721 return.

Just converted it to AUD works out to be about $985AUD sounds cheap to me assuming there's no other fees or tax's.

Edit: Just checked Qantas website it comes in a bit cheaper false alarm.

  • siigned up=]

  • I Signed up, i'll see when booking things if its any cheaper.

  • The sight does not say anything about ! year free membership, and asks for a code which I cannot see . Please excuse my newbishnes

    • says right at the top, use code:

  • Thanks heaps OP.
