Just picked up what I think is a great deal. $200 off this Sony system. If you scroll to the bottom of the page and 'sign up for special offers' you should get a coupon in your inbox. It's a once only use code too and I should have 2 spare codes if anyone needs them. Conflicting end dates either Friday or Sunday? not sure. Can purchase online or in store or pay online pick up in store.
Alternatively The good guys have them for $349 at the moment until 14/12 - but they might beat JB's price as well so worth a shot!

    I bought the old model from Dick Smith 2 years ago for only $149. It had an RRP of $500. I don't see why the newer model is supposedly $500. The new model does not have Pandora I believe.
    The speakers it comes with are pretty poor, but I hooked mine up to JBL ES20 speakers which I bought cheaply from Amazon.com. Sound quality is now great.
    Mine does not problems with DLNA streaming at higher bitrates (e.g. 320kbps), and is unable to cope with m4a.

    Hi-fi is how music should be listened to - a nice set of Left and Right speakers. People these days don't seem to care nor appreciate the quality of sound, and happy to listen to compressed mp3s though bluetooth speakers…

    They will never get to hear what music should actually sound like.

    Although if people are only using it to play One Direction or Katy Perry, I doubt it matters anyway….

  Picked one up during lunchtime at Westfield Sydney. Speakers sound good for my liking (was going to get the Sony SRS-X99 wireless speaker or the Sonos Play 5 when I had more money). Also had my eye on this as it has DAB+ and a CD player (my old stereo system is a 30-year-old ghettoblaster).
