      I do not think "mates rates" codes actually expire - I`ve used an "expired" one before and I have one that should have expired 15 Sept and if I add more than $50 to the cart I can apply it.

    WTF?? Dick smith is a fraud… Google Nexus player has always been $129, I bought it a couple months ago nego for $110 instore.

    The other day I was buying another it was again online $129…. i check today to use the 15% off code its now $169, save 30???

      Look, I probably am being too negative. I need to remember where my eneloop supply has come from… but it is kind of frustrating to see a dick smith deal and think "hooray!" only to find out that this is no bigger or more rare a special than you find on supermarket shelves.

        Way I look at ds is they bring competition to the market with constant coupons & other sale tactics, which we can then use to go to the competition & negotiate a better price, whether the deals are any good who cares atleast there trying to create price wars, the other 3 major competitors rarely do anything, take ds out of the picture there laughing, sure there's an exclusion list but maybe it's worth looking at there share price as to why, because there making no money lol, some products simply don't have huge margins that they can discount, they only supply thise products to get people in the store n hope they buy other products to.. I can bet all those that whinge about ds have all bought something from ds one time or another because it was cheaper anywhere else..

      Look above. These sales are completely fake. Even stuff not on the exclusion list have had their price INCREASED even after the coupon.

      Time for DS deals to be banned, imo.

        I think THIS is the key issue - raising prices and calling it a sale. This is very scumtastic behaviour - IMHO far WORSE than HN, GG, etc who don't have sales often, but at least they don't do these kind of troll/fake sales.
